AT&T Pre-order status

It seems counter-intuitive to cancel an order that should arrive within a month and instead wait three months, but I decided I'm not giving AT&T any extra business. Nope, and although I cannot prove it I have that feeling....

Anyway if my order never makes it for some odd reason then perhaps I will just wait and continue to use my 5s til next fall and make the jump Verizon where I was when I jumped to AT&T for the first iphone. Now that you can do data and voice at same time and there is more coverage for me in US via Verizon it maybe time to leave AT&T if they are pulling this kind of crap.
 
Ordered 6+ 64GB SG 3:09 EST, got my confirmation email (Premier) at 4:55 AM, was initially in the mid-November range and am now stuck in the 10/2-10/13 range. Oh, and TXT received 9/13 at 10:08AM AND another TXT at 10:40 AM.

Blows.

I FINALLY got shipping information for my iPhone 6+ 128 Silver. Screenshot of the confirmation is attached to post. I ordered 5 minutes after presale launch time.

What's funny is that I got told it was shipping when I called to CANCEL the order cuz I was getting too anxious and expected October dates to really be true. SO EXCITED AND I JUST CANT HIDE IT!!!:p

Does anyone know what dates people are getting for orderin through apple right now or in the last couple of days? 9/22 today.

They told you it was shipping? Did they give you a tracking number? Did this information differ from what the web order status indicated?

This last weekend I just replaced the shattered screen on my girlfriend's iPhone 4 16GB. It cost me all of $25 from eBay. That's totally worth it in my mind, even for an 8GB. It'll still function as a phone or even just as an iPod.

So the status online still showed "preparing to ship". It changed right after I made the initial call to cancel the order and they said they couldn't cancel because it's about to be shipped. Refreshed the page and Boom, got a tracking number and everything.

Did you order your 6+ today?
 
I ordered my iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver at about 2:30AM on 9.12.14 on AT&Ts website due to Apples website not working. Ended up getting a November shipping date which eventually changed to 10/2-10/13 ship date. Found out on Saturday that my local Apple Store had the phone I wanted for store pickup...cancelled my online preorder through AT&T chat due to it not working when I clicked on the cancel preorder button on my order status page.
Then find out that you can't reserve a phone for pickup with the AT&T Next, I obviously had a mini heart attack.
Then said screw it I'm going to the Apple Store, got there at 8 when it opened. The line wasn't too bad only took me an hour to get in and out with the exact phone I wanted. So glad I took the risk and waited in line at Apple for my phone. It's AMAZING!
I switched from a Note 2 and surprisingly the 6+ is taller which makes something to get use to, but reachability is fantastic I dunno how I even functioned using my Note without it.
Good luck everyone, its worth the wait...I just didn't have the patience to wait haha
Also, Best Buy has a lot of great cases for the 6 and 6+

Ordered Through Premier at 3:10AM on 9/12 6+ Gold 64gb
Originally the 10/12- whatever date
updated to 10/2 - 10/13 i think
and just popped up on website that it is shipping for Tuesday.

I wish all of you waiting the best of luck..........So frustrated with this entire process......I hope things start rolling for everyone else
 
Just talked to a CSR and they said with the 6 Pluses, the silver and gold ones are shipping, but SG is backordered due to high demand.

Mine still shows 10/2 estimated ship date. :rolleyes:

if they say the Golds are shipping today mine should as well, but i think they are doing all the Premiere members first

With all of the AT&T conspiracy theories floating around I'll add one... Maybe when you call in to cancel it bumps your order to the top of the list.

I'm not confident enough in that theory to try it myself though. :p Even to bluff because I don't trust AT&T to not put it through anyway.

Anyway, congrats to those getting phones tomorrow! :)

You'd be surprised. I was waiting outside in line for 90 mins for them to come out after and say sorry we only had 3+'s.

if this true i would do it also, just to see if it works. but other part of me is saying not to because i have some feeling like it would be shipped today
 
So out of curiousity if I decide to return and exchange my 6 for a 6+ would it be more difficult and any other fees involved? what would be the quickest way"?
