New to AT&T
I'm a new AT&T customer. I signed up for a new NEXT line when I preordered my 6+ 128 SG at 12:02 am on release day. I got the first email amost immediately after I placed the order. I'm pretty sure I got another email that night confirming my order but in I was half asleep when I woke up the next morning and read it and I think I deleted it. From that point on I haven't received ANY other contact from AT&T - no text messages - no emails - nothing! I did get moved up from what was originally the 10/13 - ?? group to the 10/2 - 10/13 group the weekend before release like a lot of others did here. I've been checking my order status online and calling the automated numbers obsessively - with no movement. My frustration with AT&T is with their communication (lack thereof) as I know they don't control what they get from Apple. I, like others here, am worried that Apple is going to focus on replenishing their store stock before the carriers so I'm not overly confident im going to see anything before 10/2. What happens if I cancel my pre-order? Does that automatically cancel the service I signed up for? After this fiasco I may just go back to Verizon where I have an upgrade and try and order one through apple for in-store pickup. I did that with my iPhone 5 and received it right after launch despite long wait times ordering online.
