FYI, just checked the 877 number and went from backordered to processing. Looks like I may have my phone soon!

Lwood had a 10/31-11/11 date like me and his/her order is now off backorder and in progress.
Called the 877 # this morning and it said my item was on backorder, then I called a few minutes ago and now it says processing like everybody else. So I should receive my tracking info later tonight? And delivery tomorrow or Monday?
I am starting to think the 877 "processing" message doesn't matter. Been 24 hours almost and still nothing.

Getting extremely frustrated. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if the TMo phone I ordered full price from Apple as a back up plan arrives first.

I finally switched to "Processing" but my date still says 10/2 to 10/13. This mean anything or just more BS? First time it's changed since ordering so it almost HAS to be good'ish, right?
Same here. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the inconsistency of this level either since it has been so messed up all the way along.

This morning 877 was backordered, an hour ago it's processing.

When u call the 877 number and it switches, that's a good indicator you item will ship soon. I got my tracking number about 12 hours after that happened and will deliver the next day.
Placed my order for an iPhone 6 Plus for AT&T, 64GB, Space Grey at 3:56AM on the 12th when pre-orders went active. Had an issue with me credit card, but had the issue resolved around 8am that morning. Estimated ship date of October 2nd - 13th hasn't budged since.
HOWEVER, I just called the 877 number again just now, and the automated system notified that my "order is [FINALLY] being processed, with an expected ship date of October 2nd and October 13th." No changes seen on AT&T's status page yet.
Should I be expecting it to arrive sooner than the indicated ship date(s), or could it be shipping out even sooner?

Yes. You will get your phone Friday or Monday.
When my message changed, I received my tracking number within 12 hours. And will ship next day!
You will have your new phone in hand within 48 hours. Look at my signature.
It has been almost 24 hours since my status changed to processing with no new info, no tracking numbers. So I wouldn't guarantee anything

Your phone is probably already in transit, the Order Status page just didn't update yet.
877 Number just switched to PROCESSING for me. Let's hope I get my tracking number soon!

I didn't have a clue what the 877# was at first kept believing my 6+/128/SG was 'processing,' with a delivery date of 11/7-11/23 after calling the number I was told its on backorder so be prepared to be disappointed.
Still says processing on the 877 number as well. Set up with both fedex and ups to notify me by text if there is a package coming my way....nothing from either. I'm hoping you are right, but nothing indicates that it is.
I signed up for UPS My Choice last week and today when my phone shipped via UPS...I got NO email from UPS until 2 hours after it left Memphis, TN. I kept refreshing the ATT order status page to finally get my tracking number.
