Plus 64 space grey order 9/12 3:02 central on backorder 10/2-10/13 (as late as 11/27) now in PROCESSING on 877#

I ordered space gray 64 gb plus on 9/12 around Noon. I have a ship date of 11/09-11/27 but just called the 877 number and got a message saying that it is processing , instead of the backorder message that I was recieving, still said 11/09 -11/27 for ship date. This is the first change or sign of movement that I have had
My wife's order has been in the process state for over 24 hours as well, so wondering if processing still means what we think it means.

Just as I posted this the order status page was updated to pending shipment with FedEx, so everyone who has been waiting for 24 hours give your status a look.
Good luck, still waiting for mine to update, order SG 64 +, but did not order till the 14th in store so I am probably looking at a Thanksgiving gift for myself.
My order placed on 9/12 8am says back ordered per the 877 number. However I got an email from UPS about a package to be delivered on Monday. But it doesn't say what the shipment is. Could this be my 6+ 64g?

If it is just the 6, you should. They seem to have plenty of those in stock. It is the 6+'s which are back logged.

I think you definitely have some wait time, but not as much as you think. I ordered 330am on the 12th, Boston time. 6 Plus 16/SG. I went from 10/31 - 11/11 to 10/2-10/13 and it seems this date is getting filled now. I haven't received a tracking # yet, but from what I've been reading, it should be any day (I hope) but seriously, don't check it every 30 min. and it'll get here quicker. Sign up for UPS MY CHOICE and setup the SMS ALERTS FOR EVERY OPTION. Don't drive yourself nuts like all of us are and have been. It sucks and AT&T sucks. It's out of our control now.
Ok. After all my whining and crying my status went from processing to shipped. Delivery set for tomorrow via ups. Do they require a signature because I am not seeing it.
UPS does I believe. I've been hearing reports of Fedex just leaving the phones.
I stayed up late on launch day to order from Apple, but never did get the Apple Store website to go beyond the "we'll be back" stage, so after over an hour of refreshing I finally ordered a Space Gray 128GB model from AT&T because I was afraid of having to wait weeks for my phone (funny, right?).
I've got a 10/2 to 10/13 date. Since then, I've had no progress on my order except for a couple of cryptic emails that essentially just said "there's been no change to your order status." Thanks a lot, AT&T!
At this point, I'm really tempted to just cancel and get the 6.

There is a place on the page that lets you choose where you want them to leave it so maybe they do just drop it. Hate the thought of it sitting for too long but nobody will be home until later in the afternoon.
I've been lurking here since pre-order kicked off and thanks to everyone on this thread and the other AT&T thread. It's quite sad but we have been like a pre-order support group for each other. I'm sure for many it's helped passed the time until our phones come. For those that did order on launch day and are awaiting our phones I feel the momentum and I think we all need to get those celebratory beers ready!!
