Just went in to at&t Saturday afternoon 9/27/14 say around 1-2pm upgraded my phone and ordered the iphone 6 64gb sg was told it would take up to 7 days possibly even 5 to receive it, when I checked my confirmation email it says " Item status:*Preparing to Ship
Estimated ship date:*10/27/14-11/14/14" so aware that I did this on a whim during the weekend I wasn't expecting it to ship until today. I called the 877# and its on backorder :/ hoping it comes before then. I used my brothers upgrade (I wasn't eligible for 2 more months) & I'm risking messing up his service when I receive and activate my phone. If it takes up until 11/14 its going to be a waste because I could've used my own upgrade. My fault for being a brat I guess and wanting it now instead of waiting.

Now I'm just getting ticked off. By this evening, seaturtle and idevicechecker are showing the 128gb Gold plus in target, best buy, and apple stores all around me. Tried to do an instore hold at Apple (of course its a 2 hour drive) but couldn't as I had already screwed my upgrade with the preorder and the site wouldn't let me purchase without adding a line or starting a new contract. 
It's all good I only have three days left till my actual ship dates start so I can wait. If it comes sooner that would be awesome.
Where can you view the FedEx planes? The flight tracker site shows UPS for me.
Flight aware just type in fDX where ups is. Or live flight tab on the left and look up fedex.

If anyone in here is from the philly area and is looking for 128g gold 6+ they have them in stock right now. Just saw it on the apple website.
I couldn't take it anymore. Cancelled my preorder that I got in at 11:50pm the 11th for my 128gb gold plus. They were able to cancel instantly and right away I logged into my Att and I was eligible again. So I knew it wasn't "at the warehouse" or "pending shipment/preparing to ship." I went the ebay route. Bought it outright. No more ATT preorders for me! Glad to be done with this BS. Wishing you all the best of luck with the iPhone lottery! If you get too frustrated just cancel and try to find one at a local retailer or Apple store. They will get them before ATT it seems.
this is awesome.. my apple store has the phone in stock.. but I Cant order it Cause my upgrade is now blocked cause the first order I have from ATT>..

Just received shipping notification for the white one, figures, my wife's phone will come long before mine will!
But, for comparisons sake, wanted to let people know.

trying to cancel right now with att on hold... then Going to order from my apple store.. if they hurry up I can go get it Tonight it closes In 1 hour... stupid att Taking forever
Just called the 877 number and now it says my order is being processed! Hopefully this means it will ship this week. How long does it usually take to go from processing to shipping?
Maybe some hope for Team Gold?

I then was told i had to Call Att to cancel my Order.. which I did ... then called back apple ... Which would then connect me to the call center.. who told me there was no phones in stock...
i tried to call a few times.. nothing
well I give up... i now Lost my pre order that would have shipped in a few days and there are none left at the store..
This has been the worst time i have ever had for this Stupid ****ing phone... I'm tired and i give up. I don't even want it anymore
keeping my 5s and forgetting about this whole thing.
word of the wise to everyone ... DO NOT CANCLE YOUR ORDER until you have a phone in your hand.

I understand your disappointment, VintendoPower, but I'm sure they didn't mislead you on purpose. I'd just keep checking the online Apple Store stock. It seems that they're getting small amounts in pretty regularly. If we had an Apple Store closer than a 2-3 hour drive, I'd probably have canceled by now and done the same.
just totally let down. I can't believe i would have gotten it this week.. but because I was told they had it.. I canceled .. lesson Learned I guess... just a warning to everyone DO NOT CANCLE your order until you are at the store or on the phone with apple store placing the order for them to hold it .
Ordered September 26th and got a ship date of October 7-16th. Logged in tonight saw that it "shipped" and kinda freaked out.
I heard some people were getting theirs earlier than processing dates but hopefully I get a tracking update soon. Also my bank account hasn't been charged yet. But here's to hoping I can get it this week. Btw normal 6 not 6+

It seems like the regular 6's are getting sent out right away. 6 plus has the sortage.
