AT&T Pre-order status

6+ 09/19 in store order

Camped outside the AT&T store 9/19 just to find out they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock, completely mad, then found out order ship date of 11/02-11/27!

Called 877# and says "back ordered" went online says preparing to ship.

Other people have ordered 6+ sg 64gb and have already got them which makes me so mad!
Don't want to cancel order because just my luck I'll have to wait until Christmas to re order. :mad:

I have seen people with dates all the way out till mid January
 
talk about a Nightmare and a half...

quick version for anyone who just joined this LOL

ordered on 9/12 midnight..

16GB SG i6 Plus

Stuck in 10/2 -10/13 shipping .. all numbers said backordered

Then tonight I check the Apple store at my local mall... states in Stock... Decided I would call... The person who picks up tells me they are open for another hour... and that they have plenty of phones for tonight...

But I could not Place my order unless I called ATT and canceled the order... I was iffy about this .. but thought no way it would sell out after what I was told ..

Took 10 mins to call ATT and cancel my order...

Call back Apple store .. only to be told that there are no phones and are sold out.. and they had no idea why someone would tell me that... I was so pissed off cause i knew that i lost my spot with my pre order as well now..

went back on the apple site to see that the phone was in stock again in a few hours since all that happen... went to place order.. BOOM sold out again...

placed and Order at a store that is about 1 hour away.... it went through!!! ... Then I noticed that it was back in stock at my local apple store again.... canceled the order.... Went to order it with pick up at the local store... BOOM... sold out again!!!?!? WTF !! at this point i was about to Give up and just keep my 5s...

Then I ordered again from the store that is an hour away.. BOOM!!!! Got it !!

Will be picking up My iPhone 6 plus SILVER 16GB !! (which is the color i wanted to start with) in the morning.


got my email from apple that its available today and will get notified when its ready to pick up..

Not too crazy about driving one hour... but you know what .. it could be worse.

best advice is check the site in the early morning hours.. seems the stock goes back up around that time.

I'm having a similar issue. I ordered on the 27th from at&t but now my local apple store has my modle in stock, I'm skeptical. What you think I should do?

Dead honest I would try going into the apple store and if they have it still. Do the cancel while In the store. At least that way you won't get stuck trying to order and finding out it's no longer in stock. Guess these things sell fast.

I watched my local Apple store go from in stock for pick up to sold out again in 10 mins. And this was at 1am
 
Keep in mind the good news is the Chinese govt approved the sale of the new iphones and they are starting out on Oct 17th. The scalpers that have been sucking up a lot of the supplies here state side are going to stop. The prices in the grey market back in China have already dropped.

So for those cancelling their pre-orders to pick up in the apple store, I anticipate it will get better very soon. Heck, I even think ATT will have better inventory levels pretty soon.

128gb 6+ in silver and gold popped up at the Houston galleria Apple Store. Couldn't add to cart because I'm tied up waiting for AT&T smh. And they couldn't cancel my order over the phone because I placed the order in store. What a joke. Thinking about still cancelling my order and taking my chances out and about. This is ridiculous.

BACK ORDER BACK ORDER BACK ORDER!!!!!!! Still WHERE IS MY PHONE? To get here by the 2nd it would need to leave today back order isn't gonna work for me. I way need some answers. This is gonna cause a riot (singing the old apple hymm) "We shall want our phones, we shall want our phones, we shall want our phones one day!!!
 
Hello att forum...I've been following along with this for the past week...6 + 64g gold premiere here and just received confirmation this morning that my phone has just now shipped and will be overnighted to me...I ordered on 9/19 and have aimlessly been waiting for it..now it's time to stalk the fed ex plane til it arrives tomorrow. The iPhone 6 phones are shipping faster due to a lower demand than the iPhone 6 plus. Those who are standard consumers and not premiere, have a longer wait for plus models because there are just more normal consumers than there are business consumers. I hope this helps....have hope it's coming soon !

Similar situation. The strange thing is that I'm on Premiere as well, ordered on the 12th, 6+64 and am still processing.

You won the iPhone 6 lottery!

Wow, you ordered a 6+ on the 19th and you are already receiving it? That's great!! I ordered on the 17th and have had no change and an 11/9 - 11/27 range......the wait continues :D

Seems like they are sending the phones more ad-hoc than ever (if that was even possible). Its been good seeing some silvers 6+ move along even if they are not 128.

Oh, I hope so. That's my phone. Ordered on 9/12, 2 pm EST. I've been 11/9-11/27 since the get go. No movement, no nothing. I've been on the boards but not commenting much. I remember when I first complained, some guy who ordered when it first opened was kind of mad at me like how dare I complain since I ordered at 2pm. So, I didn't comment much after that. Now, I see people who ordered DAYS after me complaining about how they have dates of 11/5 and being so upset. And I smile. And then I read someone ordered on 9/19 and got their phone and I frown. I know, I should just be happy for them, but wow... it's just so hard. Don't see hardly anyone else with a 128 6+ Silver so who knows, maybe my day is coming.
