I joined specifically to vent about how irritated about the situation I am in, just like everyone else here it seems.
I placed my order for two iPhone 6+ at 3:01 am on the 12th. One for me in Space Grey at 128 GB, and the other for my fiance in Gold also at 128 GB. Went to bed and everything seemed fine. We both had gotten the emails stating that we were looking at a 10/2-10/13 arrival. Now I am no stranger to launches and I totally could have lived with a week or so after the official date, but what has happened so far has just royally angered me.
The next day around 5pm I recieved and email that my order had been canceled due to not being eligible. Now, I should have stated that I was also doing early Next, and had to pay off $260 on both my line and hers. So I quickly resubmitted my ordered only to minutes later getting an email saying that I already had a submitted order. I called in, I know the 12th calling AT&T big mistake. I called on my lunch, I only get a half hour but it took 2 hours to get someone on the phone, when I did, I explained everything, the rep was super helpful. I also should mention I am a premier customer due to a discount from where my fiance works. This super nice rep fixed everything told me I had the same order date and info, and I was good to go. Also had him check on the other line and everything was fine.
So that evening on my way home from work, I get an email from AT&T saying that if I don't pay the past due balance on my account my orders will be canceled. First off, we've never been late, we always pay well before our due date. So I payed what balance was on there and called AT&T again to make sure everything was fine. I knew I was only talking to a regular AT&T rep as it was after 10 on a Friday night. I knew I was going to have to wait till Monday to call Premier again. Called Monday only to find out there were closed, I called all day, same recording to call again the next business day.
I called on Tuesday, talked to another Premier agent, she verified all my order info, and made sure that everything was fine with my orders. I get an email not 20 minutes later with new shipping dates. My fiances stayed the same but mine was now 11/9-11/27. I am very ticked off now. How did I get pushed back so far. I feel that the first come first served is a line of bull. I think someone really dropped the ball on the whole situation.
So, still waiting, I have tried the 877 number many times, funny thing is, it tells me for my line that I have two open orders now. No change in dates or anything. I did get a bill from AT&T today that says I owe and upgrade fee as well as losing the Mobile Share Value Plan discount on my line. I want to call and get it correct as that adds $65 to my bill, but I'm worried if I do that some how my order will end up being pushed back even farther. I've been tempted to cancel like a lot of people have said, and just get whatever I can find in the store, what worries my about that is I'd feel like I'm settling.
So, I vented a little, nice to have a place where others are in the same situation as I am.
