The At&t reps aren't lying about the shipment times. The dates they provide are the dates the website shows. If you happen to get your device early, consider yourself lucky! The 6+ has ridiculous long wait times, but the 6 isn't near as bad.

I'm just hoping I don't go to far past my shipment dates which end tomorrow :(:confused:
 
My shipping date starts tomorrow and it will be exactly 3 weeks tomorrow from my order date. There hasn't been any changes since my initial order. Two CS agents insisted that my phone will be shipped out tomorrow, will see what happens.

It's a regular 6 btw.

That is terrible. Tmobile has all regular 6s all models in stock right now. Yet att has people waiting 2+weeks... Should have reminded them and said hey it's not a 6+ here guys just a regular one. Lol
 
So I called the 877 number and it two days it went from saying my phone is on backorder to being processed. Does that mean its going to ship soon?!

I have the same date range and nothing yet. I PREordered at 4am on 9/12.

I ordered on the 12 at 11 am and my phone shipped should be here by thursday latest, its in texas right now. I heard it also depends on where you live.

Website still shows 10/13 - 10/22
877 number still says "backordered"

No phones still under contract. If AT&T doesn't get it right, then October 29th will be my last day with AT&T. My bill is due on 10/23/2014 but the period ends 10/29/2014. Conveniently, one day after the last day on the shipping date window.

Verizon wants to keep its customers. It has compensated some with bill credits and service upgrades for this delay. We are a month after release date and we don't have our iPhones. This isn't how you treat loyal customers. At least not if you want to keep them. "It takes months to find a customer, seconds to lose one."

Same date range, no movement here. iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey (Premier Account). Ordered September 12th @ 8:30AM EST. 877 Number says Backordered, Order status pages say Pending Shipment, Preorder Processing, Preparing to Ship. (Has said those since the 12th).
 
It seems majority of the 10/13-10/22 hasn't started to ship yet, more waiting :(.

AT&T works the best for me and always has but never having ordered anything from them I didn't know how incompetent they were and how messed their order fulfillment system is.

What is worse is that we know we could call into AT&T but the people on the phone have no power to do anything. They can't fix it and are just the ones bearing the brunt of the callers wrath. I emailed the office of the president, another exercise in futility. He's got a good crew of gatekeepers.

Ordered 128GB 6+, Space Gray on 9/12 at 6:00AM Central Time. My delivery date was 10/2-10/13. As of this morning, my status online changed from "Processing" to "Backordered" and no delivery date is estimated.

My mood has also shifted from "Annoyed" to "Pissed Off".

Ugh, that's terrible, waiting until the last date and then changing it for the worse. Yet people who ordered it last week have shipping info for this week.

Agreed, all last week they told me emphatically that my phone was definitely getting shipped out by the 13th. When I called today they quoted my shipping dates and said maybe by late this week or early next.

Exactly same situation as yours, ship date window 10-14 to 10-23 and I ordered on 9-24, it's a regular 6 silver 64gb..

AT&T: just tell me where I am in the queue. All I want is to know when to expect the device, not get jerked around. The correct information goes a long way and keeps me from getting irritated.

Apple: if you're having trouble meeting demand for your home country, don't expand into other countries, unless you're planning on making them wait, too.

My order was just changed to preparing to ship with a shipping date of

10/22 - 10/31

WHOO HOOO

However when I called in they said I had multiple orders on my phone number - the second order didn't come up with anything online.

I refuse to check the 877# anymore. It's too depressing to hear "backorder".

I will just patiently wait for the AT&T shipping email - yeah right!

Did they email you your estimated shipping time - mine says backorder when I call in too - but I have a estimated shipping time and preparing to ship as the status.

Yes I have an estimate shipping time and preparing to ship, within an hour of placing the order and a verification of the time a week later. Nothing has changed in the last two weeks since then.
