AT&T Pre-order status

well just called 877 number,
order date 9/24 silver 16 gig

shipping date 10/14, been stuck in "preparing to ship" mode since order date, 877 number has been saying back ordered.

it now says "order is being processed"
 
Death Star is crazy, this morning they said it will take 14-21 days from the time they ship until I get it, so I should have it by the second week in November.

14-21 days coming from TX to WI?

Supply and demand has a lot to do with the shipment lag.

The lack of rhyme or reason as to the order of the shipments that are actually making it out is what most of the frustration (in my opinion) is coming from.

I think if AT&T would honor ALL preorders, premier and normal alike in order that they were received, and if they would cease shipping to people that are ordering after launch date in order to deliver to the people that have been waiting almost 40 days for their phones, then there would be a lot less screaming.
 
Which 6+ phones did you order (color/GB)? I live in San Antonio and ordered the 6+ Silver 128GB on 9/20 have been waiting here patiently with silly, non-changing delivery dates of 10/29-11/7.

Update!!


For those who have not seen my previous posts I ordered 2 6+'s 128gb Gold on 9/12 around 5 am EST. Shipping window 10/31-11/11. Have not changed since day one. Once I found my phone at an apple store by my house, but att would not let me cancel my orders stating that my order was already at the warehouse preparing to be shipped although the shipping dates quoted were accurate. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I emailed the CEO's office and heard back from one his people, she tells me that the shipping dates are accurate, but If I do find it again at an apple store to call them directly, and they would be able to cancel my order and reinstate my upgrade!! Well, I tried that yesterday and noone picked up, and once again I lost the chance of getting my iPhones. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I just called the 877 number and my orders are still saying "back ordered" and the websites say either "preparing to ship" the other says "pre-order processing"
Not sure if anyone else is on the same boat, but I am premier customer and my order number starts with 10122.....I am in NY.
Hopefully it will be here before Christmas....:(:(:(:(:(:(
 
Iphone 6 16gb Silver .. #877 number says order is being processed and should receive phone between 10/16-10/27.. Which is good news again but that long of an estimate? That's horrible don't they think we've waited long enough. Every order should be upgraded to next day air free of charge.

Tmobile upgraded me to next day air and I paid for ground and got my phone before the 7-10 day estimate.

When I was on the phone with someone from AT&T on the 13th, I was informed that the system switches the status from "preparing to ship" to "preorder processing" when it has been idle on preparing to ship too long.

I don't know about the order numbers as my order was not placed till 10/03 and my number starts with 10101. (Premier also)

Any idea what that pending confirmation means?
Never mind, damn thing just changed again to SHIPPED! Yes!

Seeing everyone's iPhone 6 16GB Silver getting shipped is giving me some hope, but my order still says "Preparing to Ship" with est dates 10/20-29 with no tracking number

I was beginning to think that everyone got their phones already, since it was so quiet in here, got worried.

I wish. Half way through the ridiculously long waiting period. Come on 11/9 since I have lost hope of anything before that.

2 6+ 64gb SG with 11/9-11/27 ship dates. Ordered 9/19 at AT&T store
 
I will be halfway through my shipping window tomorrow, I just hope it doesn't go past it or it takes the 14-21 days for delivery after its shipped (as the csr said this morning).

6, 64 silver ordered 9/23 at the corporate store - NEXT upgrade.

What rebate are you referring to?

Also, I'm trying to trade in my iPhone 5 in order to get the 6. A friend of mine told me his coworker went to an ATT store and they ordered the phone for him and said that when the phone comes he can trade it and buy the 6 for the discounted price.

However i went today to an att store and they said that I would have to purchase the phone first. Thats the only way they would order the phone. Is this true? has anybody had luck trading in their phone at ATT?
 
I placed an order on 9/13 for a 6+ 64GB SG and have been stuck forever in the 11/9 to 11/27 range. I got an email about 50 minutes ago saying that model was available around my area (Chicago). I jumped the gun, placed the order and got confirmation within 10 minutes from Apple, and called AT&T to cancel the order. Now I'm just waiting for upgrade eligibility to restore.

I'm just hoping that this isn't some elaborate joke to get me to cancel the AT&T order and put me back in the queue...

I'm in the exact same boat as you!! Same order date, same phone! We ordered 5 of them. 2 of the silver 64 and 3 of the SG 64. For what we reason, one of the white and one of the SG went through on one day and the other 3 the next day. The 2 that went through on the 32nd arrived on the 10th and were supposed to ship in the 13th-22nd time frame. Now the 2 SG 64 that were ordered on the 23rd should arrive tomorrow and the silver 64 is showing it's still preparing to ship. Guess which one is mine?? That's right....the lone phone waiting to ship!! F my life!! Ha

Seems like there is a shortage of the silver 64, I actually haven't read anyone getting one this week or last. When I ordered mine it was getting a SG that was the problem.

We obviously don't live right. :(
 
Yep that's what we heard to! They said the silver ones would prob come in within 2 weeks and WAY before the SG ones.....lies!! All a bunch of lies!!! # I just want my phone....is that too much to ask for?? (Obviously)! Glad to know that someone on here is waiting for the exact same phone/dates/everything. Hopefully we see movement soon....until then I will continue to check the status every 30 minutes just incase by some sort of miracle something changed #
 
Silver 6s seem to be the hardest 6 to get for att no matter the gbs. Still no update online only the 877# saying order is being processed.
