Ordered a 64 GB SG 6 and 6+ on 9/25 in store on a Premier account with ship dates of 10/24-11/13 and 11/4-11/13, respectively. Today the 877# is saying "Your order is processing" and website still says "Preparing to ship".
How long has it been taking from the first "Processing" notification on the 877# to when the phones are actually shipping?

Glad yours is shipping, but I'd love to know how mine still hasn't been shipped when it was ordered via premier 3 days before yours. I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore.
What really cracks me up is the damn phone has been "prepping for ship" for a month now. Thats along time to get something in a box. LOL
Completely agree. Why can't I cancel something that isn't there. If it was there wouldn't it have shipped by now? This just another way ATT screws over its customers.
i know how it feels that's why i didn't order online as the waiting time is 3-4 weeks so i did the next best logical way - i checked apple.com every now and then and just this morning, i got my plus in gold. good luck and hope yours come earlier than expected.
This morning I checked the istocknow website and noticed my nearby Apple Store had the iPhone 6 Plus models I ordered (64GB, one of each color). Checked AT&T online and the #877 one last time and saw no change. Two days into my shipping window I ran to my Apple store, got my reservation, and cancelled my orders while standing in line. Just got home and am very happy to finally have my iPhone.
I've seen a lot of people saying how next time they'll just avoid ordering from AT&T. I will probably be on that list of people next time and will simply just wait it out at my Apple store or order it through them online. Best of luck to everyone, this device seems really awesome with my mere minutes of hands-on. Can't wait for you all to finally be able to do the same.

I've been tracking this thread for a while despite not having an account. I ordered a AT&T 6 SG 64gb on 9/29 in the AT&T store and it's been a month with no update from "Preparing to Ship". I've been checking idevicechecker.com pretty much daily to see if they have my phone in stock ANYWHERE in town and it was either right phone but not carrier or right carrier but not phone. Then finally last night was when I checked and found 3 Best Buys with the exact phone I wanted. Cancelled the AT&T ordered and going to pick up my new phone tomorrow if I can trade in my 5. Wish me luck!
So I'm currently on a NEXT plan with my 5S, and I have $350 left in installments to be able to do their pay to upgrade trade-in. looking to get a SG 64GB 6+. anyone else get their phone by doing this?
what sucks is none of my local AT&T stores have them, but a few apple stores have it in. But from what I know, apple stores won't let you do a pay to upgrade with NEXT in the store, and that it has to be done at AT&T. would i be able to do my trade-in/ pay off at an AT&T store and then head down to apple and upgrade my NEXT line there?

I was in this same position ...you have to either get lucky and find it at an att store ..or do it all online.
Yes you can pay off the remaining balance at At&t online or in store. After that your upgrade will be there and you can get the phone at apple. Thats what i did. The only thing is that you can't reserve a phone using At&t next at the store.
You just upgrade with 2 year contract and it keeps your current plan. I did it and have unlimited

Yea I called AT&T on 9/18 and the guy told me that the 6+ was on back order until November. Ask him why so long? He replied that they of wait until apple gets the Batch of 6/6+ first. So if was a no brainer I went to apple.com and ordered 64gb 6/6+ With the 6 for my wife being available to ship in 7-10days and the 6+ 3-4weeks. My wife got her 6 on 10/2. I got my 6+ 10/16. So yea I am glad I ordered the phones on Apple.com#
