They charge once it goes "Preparing for Shipment" so almost everyone got charged WAY before they will actually get their phones if the dates are to be believed.
VzW doesn't charge until they ship. Ordered a Gold 6+ 128GB at 830 this morning. My card has not been charged. I ordered the LG G3 prior to launch day and I was charged until it shippped. I returned the G3 to get my upgrade back.
 
I've got two orders, somehow.
Both with different numbers (as told from the recording on ATT . Com)

714xxxxxx back ordered.
40xxxxx processed.
One has 9 digits, and one has 7.

Wonder if one order is a charge (that went through my CC) and the back ordered one, the phone ( iPhone 6+, 64g, grey) -ordered at 3:20 am (et).

The order numbers that the recording said over the phone, didn't remotely match the email order number. They were all like 17 digit numbers.

I believe in the past, that most of the time preorders were messed up for a while, then things settled down, and earlier dates were eventually given, but it's been a while since I got a iPhone on preorder day.
 
Stubborn "Cancel Preorder" button

I've been trying to cancel my AT&T preorder, since I managed to get it sooner through Apple directly, but every time I click on the "Cancel Preorder" button on AT&T's order status page (see screenshot), it bounces me back to the login page asking for my order # and zip code, and I get no confirmation email like it says it is going to send.

How can I get this cancelled??!!

My order number starts with 1626

I currently have the status of:

SHIPMENT STATUS:In Progress. Our fulfillment center is processing your order for shipment.

I do not have a ship date at all right now.

When i ordered at 3:30 in the morning on ATT, it went through then for some reason i received an email stating my credit card info wasnt correct even though it was. I went back to AT&T's website and resubmit my info probably 3 times (when the site let me). It did post some error each time, but a few hours later it switched to in progress status.

has anyone received this shipment status yet?

I have tried calling AT&T atleast minimum 30 times and i get either operators are too busy or technical difficulty. I am sick of dialing hitting 2, phone number, zip code, then 0. Why cant they just have the system keep me on the line instead of hanging up.

Anyhow does anyone from possibly previous emails what in progress means?

You'll have to call AT&T.. That's what I was told. I tried contacting them online but was told to call. I'm debating on whether to cancel.. but I'm just gonna give it sometime and let it settle.. Since there's plenty of people canceling orders.

I'm doing the same. I feel like changing it is just going to make it worse. I printed a life size picture of the iPhone 6 Plus and that will have to be enough to hold me over until it arrives.
 
I also can't cancel using the website's link.

My order ID starts with 101 and my expected ship date is 10/13 to 10/31. This is insane.

Is AT&T's stock for the 64GB iP6 really that low??!! It's still in stock on apple.com.

I know it's just a phone but a month delay?? :mad:

What's the consensus here? Will this settle and we will actually get it on launch day?

This happened to me also earlier today. I finally received an email a couple hours later from ATT saying my order could not be processed as I was not eligible for upgrade. I'm assuming my Apple order superceded the ATT. The status is 'processing' under my Apple account right now.

Im still seeing this page as well but had it cancelled over the phone. Got the reps name and id number. I'm a little worried seeing this page still but but I believe the rep I talked with that its cancelled. It's still pending and also pending 1 dollar in my bank but these are just preauthorized charges nothing went through yet.

I also believe her because before I couldnt pull up my eligibility through Apple and make an order using this line, but after her cancellation I was able to order via apple and did just that. You'll have to call them over the phone.

Same happened to me. It is canceled. To get confirmation, call the AT&T Premier customer service number and select the options to check order status. Enter all your information on the phone and the automated voice will tell you that your order has been canceled.

64GB Gold - moved from ^ to 9/23-10/2
64GB Silver - Pending confirmation


Mine says 9/17 9/18 for my 6. Preparing to ship. I didn't see the 18 earlier today. (Up all night waiting to order)

Anyway, I have four one-dollar "Holds" on my card and then the whole phone amount also.

What number did you use? And I know the charge on the card might not disappear until this weekend. But do the ineligibility get lifted?
 
blowing my mind that i pre ordered at 2:04am ct... ordered a iphone 6 + 64gig silver and i my att ship date states 10-13 - 10-22 .....yet i can log onto apple's website at 6pm ct and order a iphone 6 and get it next friday....WTF????:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
What was it originally?


It changed from "Pending Confirmation". I'm a little confused because it is preparing to ship with an estimated delivery date between 11/09 - 11/27. Everybody else seems to have a much earlier delivery date.

No. Thats my biggest complaint about AT&T. I only received a confirmation of my order about an hour after I placed them. In order for me to view shipping dates I have to go to www.att.com/wirelessorderstatus. Some friends got emails confirming that they're being shipped "GREAT NEWS" some people are getting texts. Why not just have one way of doing things. CLUSTERFked.
 
Ordered mine at 4:30am EST and said delivers 9/19 now telling me 10/13-10/31. Oh well guess i'll have to wait since AT&T won't let me cancel it.

I called but it said order is still processing. I was assured it was cancelled and I wont be charged a little worried still. I did try to order from apple while my AT&T order was lagging and hadn't been cancelled yet and it didn't show me eligible for the upgrade. I couldn't buy anything. After I had my order supposedly "cancelled" I went and ordered through Apple and it went through, so I shouldnt be charged twice right using the same line? It looks like the eligibility was reset as it let me order. Hopefully.
