AT&T Pre-order status

I got my shipping update yesterday to 10/13 - 10/22. You guys think there will be another update tonight? i'm hoping one more update closer to launch for me. Crossing my fingers!

Even though we are all over the deep end and taking this way too seriously - this was very nice of you to do. Thank you for being generous with your time and talents and allowing everyone a place to direct their excited energy.

Just checked my tracking again via UPS My Choice and it's currently "In Transit to UPS" - 4 business days left and scheduled for Approximate Delivery Time: 2pm-6pm on Friday, 9/19!
 
Wow, iPhone 6+ orders outnumber iPhone 6 orders by about 3 to 1, at least with the small sample size from this forum thread. That's surprising. :)
 
Ordered a gold 64gb plus right when preorders opened. Unfortunately because of payment issues that didn't get resolved until today my order is pushed back to the 11/09-11/27 bracket.

Hoping these numbers drop after Friday. ~_~
 
For those with my choice UPS or FedEx numbers assigned, what are your delivery options? pre-sign? re-route? hold for pickup? can never remember what att/apple limits for shipments.

However, when I spoke to a rep, she gave me another number to try - 866.391.0749 and it tells me that both orders have been sent to the warehouse for shipment, which agrees with what the reps have been telling me.

Anyway, the second number seems to have more info than the first, at least in my case.

This didn't work for me - I put in my info and it just plays a little tune and goes dead :(
 
I guess I'm SOL by now in terms of getting the phone this Friday. Both ATT emails are saying deliver by 9/19 but no info in UPS My Choice or FedEx and ATT is still showing "preparing for shipment"

That is quite the assumption to make. If your delivery date has not changed why are you worried?

Called the second number says the same thing. Order has been sent to the warehouse for shipment. iPhone 6+ ship date quoted is 10/2-10/13
 
So they bumped my shipping date up for a few weeks (to mid-Oct), but the hold for the charge is no longer there. I assume that's a bad sign?

What's your expected ship date on MyATT?

Anyone else in an apartment building? MyChoice doesn't seem to work for me, and I'm quoted shipment 9/17-9/18.

Does this mean I'm good?

Because the E-Mail with that delivery date came last Friday. The order status has yet to change except for yesterday when it went all blank and said "processing". If FedEx or UPS doesn't have it by now then it can't look good...
 
For those of you who found the shipments on UPS My Choice:
When you track it, it should show the Reference Number(s).

Would you mind letting us know what piece of info they're using for the number(s)? (myAT&T order number, AT&T Premier order number, upgrade line phone number, main account line phone number, email address)

If it's a phone number, does it have dashes or parentheses?

Based on what i've been reading, if you ordered a 6 you are probably safe on getting it on friday. If you ordered a Plus... it's way more questionable... in my case i see the UPS info for my 6 with delivery on the 19th... for my 6 Plus, Order confirmed but nothing else and an est delivery Oct 11.
 
Here is something interesting. I just got off the phone with premier order status rep. I ordered both my 6 Plus's ten minutes before midnight. Both mine say 10/13-10/22 shipping which would mean back ordered, right? Well the rep told me the orders are complete and in the queue and just waiting tracking numbers. She said the dates will most likely change. This is good news I think.
 
I am also curious if there is some correlation to geographic location. Here in the DFW Metroplex we have major distribution hubs for the shipping carriers and orders have been staged here. I wonder if you are within a staging area if your shipping information is lagged because you have less distance for shipping. My shipping with UPS generally is delivered from the UPS hub at the airport or Mesquite and FedEx typically comes thru the distribution center in Addison.

my issue with this is...why are you hoping to get a tracking number before att even says so? some people are lucky to get tracking, but we all know tracking isnt 100% regardless of the carrier.

if ATT isnt saying your phone will be delayed, you shouldnt be worried...not yet at least. its only monday lol.

im only here to see if anybody is getting a tracking with delivery weds or thursday lol (as those are my days off) and i chose to preorder instead of going the safe route and hitting my local ATT store where im 99% sure id get what i wanted.
