AT&T Next discriminates against New York customers
At on 9/12 3:25am, I was just about to pull the trigger on a 128gb Space Grey iPhone 6, when I got this error message:
"Customers who use their iPhone primarily in New York cannot use the AT&T Next purchase option online."
I then ordered on AT&T with no problem, but now that they're telling me it won't ship until 10/13 - 10/31 (because, as the AT&T rep told me, my particular model is back ordered), I'm canceling to take my chances at the Apple store.
Then I noticed the Apple site is still showing 7 - 10 days shipping, so I'd really like to order from them. But I'm still getting the same #$&*@ error!
I called Apple, but they said they never heard of this error message.
Anybody encountered this? Please chime in.
