Im just referring to the people who filled out that they completed their order between 1986 up to last month and then the people who placed their orders later this week. Also apparently a lot of people ordered ~24 hours before the preorder launch

Just noticed the difference in the order #. I ordered 2 iPHone 6+ 64GB Gold in a difference of an hour (due to website being down/non-responsive).
One was ordered around 12:05AM PST, the second one around 1:27AM PST.
The difference in the order # is about 300K orders, in a little more than an hour. That's pretty crazy just for AT&T. If 4M was ordered total on the first day, I bet at least 1-1.5M of them were AT&T subscribers.
Anyway, I don't really believe we will get the 6+ on the 19th. Maybe the first week of October (those with the early shipping dates).

I never said that everyone who had their estimated shipping times of 10/2-10/13 had shipped. I'm in the same boat buddy. Be patient. Some people had their labels created on 9/14 and some today 9/15. They're just labels.
I think after last year people thought gold would be in high demand and impossible to find get. I went for the 6p 64 in gold myself.
i've lost faith in AT&T.....maybe its just not gonna get pushed up, why do i have high hopes for a company that can't keep their site up to par.....

Check the past few pages of the thread. Someone had a November est. ship date and he's got a 9/19 shipping label
Step back from the cliff my friend. AT&T can only update with what info Apple sends to them, until then it makes good business sense to vastly under promise on dates and over deliver with on-time shipments.
no cliff, simply knowing a date would be great. NO one knows a date that they can bet on...everything with AT&T is speculation.

Still stuck with shipping date of 9/17-9/18 on 128gb 6 space gray. Wondering if I will actually get it on the 19th, as I waited up to order it at 3am so I would get it on the first day!
Well my status is the same with a ship date of the 17th or 18th. I don't have shipping confirmation and just this afternoon the hold on my credit card dropped off... Weird.

Usps has lowered prices this month Plus amazon has contracts with them now for Sunday delivery. My market starts in October.
Smart post is usually a 4-7 day service. So it could come after the 19th. The only time usps has had specific street dates for packages was Harry potter books. It's possible it could come usps. I'll try and call tomorrow. Being a usps employee they are supposed to ship with them (which they do except for iPhone releases) one year it came usps. Another year fed ex.
My order for 128GB 6plus SG went through without issue but was also pushed back to the 11/9 --11/27 time frame. I just checked ATT order status page and am now bumped forward to 10/13 - 10/22... Keep hope alive!

...no update to my order status yet. Like others, it flipped to backordered for a day and I thought that was good news as that's exactly what happened when I ordered the iPhone 5. It said backordered all week then switched to shipping and I didn't even have a tracking number until the wee hours of the morning on delivery day.
And I'm not here to tell anyone to settle down, or wait it out, or stop complaining, because THIS IS THE PART I LOVE MOST!
I love the back and forth, the parsing of confirmation numbers, the divination of tracking information, the occasional AT&T rep that gives us a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes-- all of it. I love it.
I mean, for the 5, we were using FlightAware to track our phones from the FedEx facilities. I'm not making that up. I'm including a screen shot of probably what was my phone coming from DFW.
Right now, I'm at Yellow Alert. I'll probably get my phone before 10/2 but almost certainly not on this Friday. It would have been great to, but really if it doesn't, then the forum dance goes on.
Also, for me, Yellow Alert is Panic Level: leif garrett
