AT&T Pre-order status

Customer: Ok, but I'm still confused though...

My expected shipping date is between 11/09/14 - 11/27/14!!!
I envy you people that got the Sept/Oct expected ship dates.
Even though I pre-ordered at 0545 in the morning on the first day, my expected shipping date is between 11/09/14 - 11/27/14!
I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus online from AT&T because I wanted to keep my current plan. I am grandfathered-in to keep my unlimited plan; “FamilyTalk Nation”, plus unlimited data; $39.89 month.
BTW, I went in to my local AT&T store the day before the pre-order day to find out if I was going to be able to keep my current plan, and also ask if they were expecting to have many iPhones in-store on Sept. 19th, and the sales person wasn’t even aware the iPhone 6’s had been announced:eek::eek::eek: He had no idea!!! Way to go AT&T. Good to see you train your employees so well!
 
I've ordered my iPhone 6 on the 12th and it says it cannot be cancelled as it is being shipped. Scheduled delivery date is 9/19.

Today, my iPhone 5 stopped working. Apparently, they "activated" my iPhone 6 and deactivated SIM card on my iPhone 5.

I had to go into an AT&T store to get a new SIM card. They said it was a common problem to those who preordered iPhone 6.

Yeah, I ordered from Apple and kept all of those plans as well...so you didn't need to go through AT&T.

On my screen I have pending on the premier site without a ship date listed and something similar if I just to to AT&T's regular order status page.

After trying this ups trick though I did find my tracking info. It seems my phone is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow? I'll believe that when I see it! I'm just glad I finally got some tracking info.

Same here. Assume this means it's on the way ... no turning back now, guaranteed delivery, yada yada yada.

Need a UPS expert to chime in here. :D
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but so far all preorders seem to be exclusive to UPS from AT&T correct? Have we seen a Fedex tracking number pop up yet?

So then I assume you understand that it's only been 3+ days and a weekend at that, plus one of the largest pre-orders in the history of e-commerce. I wouldn't expect any reseller to have 100% accurate info at this point considering the circumstances. I say this in a positive way (aka, keep the faith!)

Why would we lie about something this simple? I have maybe 5 posts in 2 years, I'm not gonna log on here just to lie to you! In fact i doubt ill post again until the next launch in 2 years.

This gives me hope! I ordered much earlier than that through premier. So I bet that AT&T's website just sucks at giving good estimates on ship dates. I can't even try UPS MyChoice because I'm shipping it to a commercial address...

Right now mine says "preparing to ship" which really prolly means "we really haven't even laid eyes on it yet.

I think part of AT&T's slowness too is that, from past experience, they load the phone in a separate box with a bunch of fliers and info. That has to take time to do that then match phones up with orders.

I'm including a handy Launch Week Panic Level Chart that I'll be living by this week.

Will probably go down. Mine said that same thing (as well as saying I ordered on the 14th..?) but today it changed to early october saying I ordered on the 12th, and I'm still somewhat expecting to get it on launch day, although maybe that's just wishful thinking.
 
Im almost positive we will get the real 6+ ship days/tracking numbers tomorrow or at the latest Wednesday. Again everything is catching up, I wouldn't want be the one in charge of inventory right now. It seems a couple people have gotten theirs but not enough to be worried at all.

The experience of this has been fun though

not me, I Ordered the iPhone 6 Plus 128 SG and my current dates are 10/02/14 - 10/13/14*

Hope I get it by Friday. Ive checked my UPS My Choice and there isn't a tracking number yet. Hopefully it will show up soon.

Because gold is just flashy, they aren't getting the phone for the power haha. I know all the phone are the same power; I'm joking. It's like when you see a really nice painted car, but motor is crap. hahah
