It won't be released tomorrow. The 2.0 firmware is NOT ready for primetime.

So release it without the 2.0 firmware but a version of the 1.1.x firmware that enables 3G. If it's SO FAR AWAY from being ready from primetime that would mean a loooong time to go with no iPhones for Apple to sell.
I will celebrate with you all if they're released, however there was speculation that they would stop selling old iphones within 2-4 weeks of the new one so that customers couldnt return the older versions in favour of the newer ones.Exactly, Apple are NOT going to stop selling iPhones until WWDC. Its coming VERY SOON!
On another note that Blackberry Bold is looking mighty tempting

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would make sense if you're out for a buck or hundred.
I dunno why, but i have this weird feeling that i'll be sorely disappointed with the next iPhone. Just this feeling that it'll be a meh product.

The lone AT&T rep in the store seemed pleased to see me. I said that I was interested in talking about the various plans for the iPhone. The rep immediately stiffened up and replied, "I'm sorry. We don't carry the iPhone anymore. You have to go to the Apple store."
Many possibilities here. Might not be a corporate AT&T store, might be unknowledgeable salespeople, might be sold out of iPhones and is sick of fielding questions about it. Any number of things could be going on here.
Well, I think Apple wasnt going to introduce 3G at WWDC but now there's so much pressure over them (also because of AT&T leaks), they can't disappoint everyone anyone.
jeeze tomorrow would be perfect but its to good to be true. Why would they release a new iPhone with a still in beta phase software? (i doubt they'd still put 1.4 on the new 3G considering it doesnt even have the 3G switch on off option)
