Well it looks like this thread has went down the drain. My wife received her Atomic case on Monday and when I got home I installed it for her. It's white with a red cap and so far it performs just as good as the apple bumper does. I have not seem any difference in any area's of performance. My black case has yet to arrive but I am sure it will soon. Not really much else to say that has not been said already, or really no reason to even post any pictures since they have been posted already too. But the case fits pretty well, performs pretty good. I am not a big white fan so I think the black will look much better. But all in all a pretty solid case.

Nothing stands out like a unique bumper or case on a iPhone 4. I've tried Alumacase and Element Vapor and both kill the signal and/or GPS. If you want a AWESOME looking case and still maintain signal and GPS get the Atomic Hybrid Composite. Great looking and especially if mirrored with Gelaskins. Finally a case I love. My color choose is White/Blue...

Just wondering if anybody that's ordered a case within the last couple of weeks has received it yet. I placed my order on 11-27 and have yet to receive any confirmation that it has shipped.
I've emailed them twice just to see if I could get an expected ship date or anything and haven't gotten a response. Is anybody else here having issues with getting in contact with them?
Also, I know it states on their site to allow up to 10 days and I understand this, however some communication between buyer and seller would be nice. Guess I'm just really anxious to get this case now that I've had my phone for a couple of days.
Any insight would be great, thanks!

Ordered mine last Friday, 12:15 a.m. When I check the order status it says, "partially shipped". I did order the apple carbon back.
Maybe that is why atomic is charging $13.08 to ship via Fed EX. Shipping piece-meal. I have also contacted them through their web site twice. They will not respond.

I'm still trying to get a response for a change I made to my order over the weekend.
Does anyone experience a small gap here? Between the delrin and the phone. I have a gap of about 1-2mm.

I also have small gap on delrin side that curves. Very slightly that unnoticeable. Maybe Atomic needed a little more material would make more stiffer. I attach my photo using iTouch camera. Overall I think this case is AWESOME since all functions works and feels awesome in hand. In the two days having it co-workers have committed on in left and right how cool a case it is. Price is high is only complaint...

Thanks for all the replies guys, guess I'm not alone in receiving less than acceptable customer service. Like I said, I don't mind waiting for something especially if it's in high demand, however knowing when it will ship or just a response in general would be much appreciated.

I have no ties with atomic - I have emailed them maybe 10 times at sales@atomiccase.com and got an answer within the same day everytime.
Thanks, that's somewhat reassuring I guess. I've been emailing sales@atomicphonecase.com, maybe that's where I went wrong? I just sent them an email through the contact us option on their site, maybe that will work. Still kinda disappointed that I've waited the 10 days and it hasn't shipped yet, a simple email stating it will ship next week or something would be nice. Hopefully I'll hear from them today with news that it's shipping. Thanks for the email addy glen!
Yep horrible company, horrible service.
I had same experience except my case was a replacement for their horrible original case I kept emailing asking for a general time frame an instead they just canceled it....
after using my case for about a week i have two gripes - one major, one minor. the major problem i have with my case is that one corner has less material (depth) than the rest so when setting the phone on a table and typing it rocks at the lower left corner. while other phones i have had exhibited this problem stock, the iphone's quality and attention to detail are somewhat sacrificed by this flaw.
my minor concern is that the pilot holes for the bottom two screws seem to have been drilled too deep, so they intruded into the speaker cutout. there was some excess delrin that i cleaned out, but when the case is mounted i can see the two screws' bottoms if i look in that area. it makes me a bit concerned about the life of the case with regard to how many times i can remove and reinstall the cap.
last, my experience with atomic has been that they are very poor in communication. i asked two simple questions about the case prior to ordering via their webform with no answer. then, after ordering the case i emailed asking when it would finally ship (after being in pending status for 2 weeks) and without answer i finally received shipping notification.

If your getting a little curve or gap try to loosen the screws a bit. That can happen if they are too tight.
I've seen one of the F1 CF backs - they're a bit thicker than the other CF backs (if you watch my vid review of this case, I show it actually). Still glossy/smooth.
The normal CF that I just received from them is not glossy, has a slight texture to it, but is definitely a bit thinner - more sticker feeling, less carboard. Either one seemed fine, and I like them better than the backing that came iwth the alumacase.
Thanks! How did you specifically get the F1 Carbon when you ordered? I can't find it anywhere on the site (much like the alleged new Silverback composite case). All the links from Facebook/Twitter announcing all this new stuff just direct you back to the main outdated site. It's an odd run-around to say the least.
The last word I got from Atomic regarding the Silverback is that it's a hybrid (aluminum and delrin/composite) rugged case. A much beefier design than the current hybrid. More along the lines of the Otterbox. It's design cues are supposed to be that of "the long, sloped forehead of a gorilla", and the large grips on the side are reminiscent of "muscles/arms". Apparently the design gets cues from a gorilla, hence the name "Silverback", I assume. That name could also have a double meaning referring to the "silver" of aluminum. It sounds pretty intriguing, but I've only talked about it with them in email, and haven't seen pictures of it yet.
Seems we all are confused with their service. I placed my order and finished my payment the day before yesterday. After two days waitting, i check the order status it still shows i've paid 0$, and of course no response from their email! Is that normal?

When I placed my order for my two cases I asked about the f1 carbon before I ordered and then they replied and I had it added to my order. It's a very nice piece but I think you have to ask them for it when you order because its either 20 or 30 dollars more, not sure. But its by far the best carbon piece I have ever seen. I got one of my two cases on Monday, the white case and my other case did not arrive and I contacted them and I did get a response but they said something about setting up a new machine so they could get next day shipping on all orders here within a few weeks and that is why they have been kind of behind on answering emails. My case arrived today and it seems to be perfect. So I think with the holidays and the new machine and trying to get caught up they seem to be a little overwhelmed at the moment. Give them time, they will answer your question I am sure. Or you case will just show up like mine did. But the F1 carbon piece is excellent, well worth the money.
