Colors wise I can't help you there buddy, but as far as the case goes, no the phone never touches the surface is laid on. The case is over lapping on both sides so you don't have to worry about that. Color wise, I tried the lime green so for the hell of it and its pretty sharp and the brushed on the white or black case is awesome looking, by far the best combination I have. You really cant go wrong with brushed, so that would be my suggestion. Or red or any of the colors look pretty close to the actually pictures. But I am telling you, brush is awesome. But I think you will be happy with whatever color you choose.

Question for ufcfighter ,
is the finish of the brushed alum the same as the color one..
from the pics it looks like the brushed alum one has sharper edges and a bit more shinny.
perhalf Atomic didnt clear anodized the brushed alum one?

Well, to be honest I am not real sure what you mean. It does not have sharper edges and the finish it great. It is very shinny but I am not sure if it is cleared, but I don't think so but its not just raw material either. When I put it next to my green cap they look identical finish wise. I don't really know if that answered your question or not but it really does look great, the anodizing is really good on it and to be honest, it ended up being my favorite. I will try to get a close up pic for you later but if your looking for shine, that is the cap you want for sure.

I notice you have some trouble with your camera work, try working on that wood desk, put the items on a white sheet of paper with some better lighting. Your pictures won't be as blurry and you shouldn't need a flash so you won't get the reflection in all your photos (as I'm guessing you aren't using the greatest camera and it has trouble in low low lightning condition). It's definitely much harder to take pictures of items like this than most people think. Not complaining just trying to help you out 😉
how is the bottom depth? looks pretty big so i wonder about compatibility with proclip docks, etc.

I have a lime green cap and a brushed cap. I want a orange cap and a gunmetal also but right now they are filling complete orders and not just selling caps alone.
No, I actually went to a 3G area last night and my signal was the best I have ever seen, the GPS was dead on and my speeds were faster and more regular than I have seen. I speed tested about 5 times and the speeds were the same everytime, they never varied. So 2 days in and still no complaints.
Docks are pretty much out with this case. It has the same bottom as the element and neither of mine will work with at dock, the Atomic or Element. So if you dock yours if probably wont work. But you also could trim it down alot easier so I guess it could work. I don't have a docking station so I don't ever worry about that.
Alright guys, I will go shoot each case again using your suggestion and post them up here in a few so you can get a better idea of exactly what they look like but I am working with an old kodak or my phone itself. Give me a few.
Ok, Here is the Best I could do with the camera's I have to work with. I think all these should answer most of your questions. I took pics from all angles. If you want to see anything else more specific, just let me know. As you can see with the up close pics of the top on both cases the button is flush which is great and you can also see the caps very clearly so you can see how good the anodizing really is.

I can't do anything about their shipping charges. I do know to be protected by paypal you have to be able to track the package from point A to point B and everywhere in between and make sure it is delivered and the only 2 companies that will do that is UPS and FED EX. Otherwise the person on the other end could say they never got their case and they would have to refund the money because their would be no way to prove them wrong. I actually learned that the hard way.
Unni suggested that there is an extension out there for dock connectors that will fit - ultimately this is why I'm not using my atomic as much at this point: I like being able to hook into my car stereo, and as I'm already using a passPORT to make it USB pin compatible, the LAST thing I need is ANOTHER extension on it.
I actually took some pics of the lime green and the white case and it actually looks awesome together too. I was shocked but it really does look great. I also remembered way back when I ordered 2 atomic cases for myself and my women and I had to dig to find them but her's was purple with black and mine was black with blue so I had two other color caps so I tried them on the cases and they fit. So they are using the same caps as before but here are a few other colors that you guys might like.

I'll get it tomorrow - Unfortunately two issues exist for me:
1. Got charged twice
2. Paid $17.83 for ground service - the site now shows $10.80 for that.

On another note, how do you guys attach photos to your posts??
I have the Element Vapor on my phone and only the OEM Apple connector fits - I have seen 'extenders' that are short with the 30 pin female and male on each end, but am never positive the male end )to go into phone with case) will fit.
Also, they are like $30 or so - seems WAY out of line for it. Apple Store does not have. Seen them on Amazon and MyGearStore.com
