Atomic Hybrid Composite Case IP4

I've got piss poor ATT signal at home and work. You want to test something, send it my way.

Perhaps we key players (you know who you are) could start up an Aluminum case consultation service for these start up companies.
 
Anybody remember nolesfan from back a couple months ago?

He supposedly lived in Kansas or somewhere with terrible reception and claimed that the cases he had worked perfectly. Then other people started getting them and found out they killed reception. As such, company reps will just have to understand why people are skeptical of any claims made until outside sources can do independent testing.

I'd be happy to assist in that! I've spent well over $600 in aluminum cases alone, and all for personal use (none of that buying 5 Element Vapors to sell for $100 profit each mess). And I've only found one manufacturer of said aluminum cases that works for me with no issues. With all the bad experiences from most of the other companies (if not in customer service itself, in the product underperforming), I'm very hesitant to shell out more money sight unseen on these type cases anymore. They really should do some significant real world testing in various locations (and by that I mean around the country, not just in their base of operations, as AT&T works on different frequencies nationwide), and maybe that's something a few of us here could help with (testing).

Your post will probably get removed for even mentioning that name (most others have that bring up a banned member), but if you remember his attacks on me for questioning him, I most certainly remember him! :D
 
I just don't see how that case would be different from ANY of the others. I honestly don't, but if you can prove us wrong then by all means do it. I personally don't believe a person who makes and tests their own products and produces video's(Alumacase) and claims they work great and then they show up and they perform terribly and we are out shipping at best. Like I have said, I have tested 5 different aluminum cases and all gave the same results. They just don't work! If your confident in your product then sent it to bighabeeb. He is credible and will give honest results. As would I but I really don't want to be the responsible one if your case fails. I wouldn't want to feel I had any part in that so I would rather not do it myself but bighabeeb will probably be honored!! OK, Back to the Atomic thread.
 
New guy said he's going to send me a case to take a look at once he gets 'em back from anodizing (mid next-week) - stay tuned for a separate thread for that with pics and vid.

That having been said, lets keep this on the atomic hybrid topic :)
 
Hopefully they decide to sell just the caps at some point soon. If I like the case I ordered and it works well, I'll definitely buy extra caps.
 
New aluminum case, comapred to atomic hybrid

Anyone interested in trying out this new guys billet case needs a head examination. Read a physics book. Its not:mad: that the aluminum touches the stainless...the aluminum completely blocks frequencies...Atomic is the only aluminum case manufacturer to solve this problem, and theyve done it will flying colors. Element, and other billet cases are cool, but a paper weight at best.
 
What I find interesting is that, I had the HTC Legend before, which apparently features a unibody design in aluminium. For the period of time that I had the phone, the GPS, data worked perfectly.

I would definately be interested in additional caps to change things up here and there - bummer my Vapor cap won't fit - I am so anxious to see if this Hybrid does the trick!

The Atomic is your answer. Id put money on element coming out with a composite case next. Aluminim isnt the problem...unless its used as a cage, a faraday cage. MacBooks are aluminum and they get wifi just fine....put another aluminum cage around the Macbook, and youll have a giant no wifi access laptop. wiki faraday cage, or google it....element will never make it with the cases they produce...they look great, and if I was a millionaire, id buy the nickle plated one...just to look at it. I love the element case design, quality grade and everything else...but I like to use my smartphone. Sorry element, my 100 bucks will be spent on the one that allows me to use my phone

Yeah, let us know how that goes, but I feel youre wasting your time. Same story as element and alumacase..good luck though

Faraday cage. Check it out on google or youtube..if the aluminum casing acts as the ant., youre fine...cover that with another piece of EMF absorbing material..your have an element case
 
Got my Atomic Hybrid Black Gunmetal

Today I received my Atomic Hybrid Black Gunmetal Case. I love the case.I own a Vapor, and even with modifications that worked for others my signal and gps suffered. Bought a Fusion and and had signal and gps issues though not as bad as Vapor. Well this case has no such issues. So far my gps has been spot on, and my signal is just as good and like ufc said may be even a little better then with the Apple Bumper or any other case I have used.

The delrin side even has a metal feel to it and the Gunmetal side is awesome. I would post pictures but am computer illiterate. Will try to have my son post pictures later. If you like the vapor but have signal issues I think you will like this case. I think my search is over. Finally

As more reviewers dailing in....this hybrid case looks better & better by the moment.

I went with black/brushed. ;-)

"no reception..interference " is a very unwise claim.

Don't you think its shady going on some other company's website, especially a competitor and trying to steal their captive audience? Is that your marketing plan? Hijack Guerilla marketing? Hijack facebooks and other threads?

Looks like your company has some unethical core values.
