Because I was asked by them to help, and everyone on here is insulting me for it but the fact is, I stand behind atomic, not alumacase or element so if you guys buy or have bought their cases then I don't know what to tell you. I'm loyal to the company I promised to help and I am not one bit afraid of stacking my atomic against the alumacase!! I would do it today if they are within driving distance. If you look real close, look what happens when the guy from alumacase picks up his phone!! Somebodys numbers jumped up.

Actually, rapaleeman has shown pictures (just found his post in the other Atomic thread), and joekwondo08 has also said he has one (also in the other thread). You actually posted in the other thread on the same page as rapaleeman's pictures (can't miss them...they are HUGE!). So now I've seen the inside. Damn...that looks cheap as hell.
And he didn't say really anything negative except he did like how the case rested on the phone. Nothing about reception. And fusion case is going to rest on the exact same place, look at the pics!
I didn't say that he did say something negative (I'm the one who stated it looked cheap). Just stating the other two posters who I've seen mention that they have the case. And yes, the Fusion case currently shows something similar, but, we haven't seen a shipped product, either. These things change a lot of the time from concept to shipping. Look at the original Element Vapor for instance. Could have sworn early renders showed a liner going all the way around the interior. But in the Fusion's defense (at least with the Raw), it's sides are open. Should be substantially better on reception.
I don't understand how "bashed" is even the word to use. It's not like he went on some stark raving mad rant about the case and the company being ****, he simply posted what happened when he used the case and his thoughts on the quality. If anything it sounds like an honest review rather than dressing up the case to be something it's not.
For most of that I agree. It's very very hard to get these cases working properly. But in all honesty it's a very sharp case in person. It really is.
Well...it should be. The Vapor that it copied was a great looking case. Too bad it took a lot of extra work on my part to even get it to work, with no company support. Glad the Atomic doesn't need any mods to work....oh....wait..
If he was having trouble with his case, why not go straight to atomic and address it with them FIRST? Why come on here and say what he said. He is the only person on any website that has said anything about reception. Gps is a different story though but I have it working now too. Just makes me wonder if the case was installed properly! It's easy to get it just a little bit off and have it touch the antenna. Who knows.
Man it's a ten minute fix. It's not surgery and it should of been done from the start but like I said, he didn't know at first that there were any problems because nobody reported them or had them.
Looks to me like he was posting his observations to us forum members. I don't see him being rude, bashing, or anything (I quoted his post above if you want to look). And...how do you know he didn't shoot Atomic an email/phone call regarding it? He doesn't say if he does or doesn't. And....why didn't you say the stuff you just did initially? The stuff about GPS taking a bit to get working? The case potentially getting off center and contacting the antennas? The fact that the Atomic case takes a bit of prodding to get working correctly? Instead, you made it out like it was the greatest case ever, NOW you come back and start telling of it's little (or big) faults. THIS is why some people (at least me) have a hard time taking anything you say seriously. You pretended to do a "fair" review, but you touted this thing to high heavens, and never mentioned any of the things you've now come back and said.
Then YOU should have also stated it in your opening comments on the case. Instead, you stated this on Sept 15th (your first mentions of the Atomic) Note the things you said that I bolded:
Here is my review of both of my Atomic Cases. I received them both today and they are beautiful pieces. They fit great, the cutout at the bottom is larger to accept bigger cords. It may even dock, I don't have one so I am not forsure. I field tested my phone naked 3 times before putting on either case and also speed tested it with 3G and my WIFI. Then I put on the first case which fit great, then field tested it not expecting the results it yielded. My phone naked with my microcell in my house gets between -55 db's and -57db's, my 3g speed is horrible from my microcell so I never actally use it so I am not sure what speeds are accurate for it. But they were between 775 down and 58 up. I know, terrible and that's why I use my wifi. My wifi speeds were all in the 2650 range down and 850 up. My internet speed in only 3000 down and 1000 up. So then I added the first of two cases and my results were as 3g speed was between 796 down and 56 up. My wifi speeds and my db's are shown in the pictures. So, after all that I went on a drive and tested the gps and it was spot on with both case. So I have owned the vapor and now the Atomic and the Vapor just got owned!! Everyone on here says pics or it didn't happen, here are your pics! Pictures don't lie so here they are. What you are seeing on the edge between the phone and the screen is invisibleshield that I started taking off today and then my cases showed up and I started in on the cases, that and my screen protector also is starting to come up.
There is some a few pieces of invisibleshield left on my phone but most is gone. Why would that negate my test? Haven't people been using things between the element and their phones? Whats the difference. The Atomic case works period. The Vapor really doesn't no matter what you line the case with, i have proved it with the Atomic case and I have owned a Vapor and did everything in the world to make that case work and it never did. So you can be the judge.
Here are my two latest reading I just took today. My phone gets better reception with the Atomic than with a Apple Bumper!! People should be snatching these things up. They have awesome colors and they ship the next day and the numbers I posted don't lie. I can't fake those. I took over 20 pictures of how this case DOES NOT interfere with your signal, wifi or gps. And honestly, I have absolutely no stake in this company. I just tested a few things for them, but they make a great product and if people really want an aluminum case, I would HIGHLY recommend this one. Like I said, numbers don't lie. In case some of you don't understand db readings, -51 is perfect and the larger the number, the worse the signal. I want 1 person with a Vapor that has a db reading as low as my -57 to post a picture and prove it to me because I don't think that it exist.
He prefaced it by saying they were initial impressions. What exactly was so offensive that required him to take it up with the company first? As a fellow consumer, I'm happy he posted early thoughts because if I had not known and gone out and ordered one only to find out after the fact there were issues, I'd be pretty upset with all of the extra hassle. I know he's not the first person to post initial impressions of a product so by your logic, it would seem that if anybody has negative issues with a product, they shouldn't alert people until they have first talked to the company (and thus negate the ability of other consumers to save time and/or money).
As for installing the case properly, that's just a terrible cop out if you ask me. That's like being told I'm holding my phone wrong and that's why my bars go from 5 to 0. If the case has to be installed a certain way otherwise it becomes non-functioning, that seems like an error on the company's part due to their design.
Omg, I give up your right. Just go buy the vapor. There are 65 pages of it not working but you guys keep buying it anyways.
Sure I will be happy to post some pics. They asked me when I oredeted it not to "advertise" that they made me a gunmetal and red version which is not on their site. (Element did the same thing) The customer service was great try answered emails in a timely manner, and upgraded my shipping for free.

Your case is a copy of the vapor and it has the same exact problems. Actually my vapor gets better reception.
How much are you getting for every case sale you refferr?
I have no intention of buying the Vapor, the Atomic, the Alumacase, or anything similar to those types of cases. I just fail to see how the OP was wrong for posting his initial impressions and how it's the consumers' fault for supposedly using a product incorrectly when it should be a straightforward process.
I believe you also failed to take into account the handful of people in those 65 pages who do have a case that works for them. Now does that make everything alright, of course not. Clearly there's an issue when the majority of people have problems and that's why there have been revisions. But I think it's rather disingenuous of you to constantly post here that the Atomic case works because you tested it with great results, everybody should be buying them, and it's better than the Vapor when a sample size of 1 is in no way statistically significant.

did he go into reception, bluetooth wifi etc? the video isn't loading up properly for me i can only see the first 3 mins seems to be just talking about atomic's fit and finish
Listen, you and I have been going at each other for several days now. I have posted up pictures and video's of the Atomic in action. I have used the Vapor and obviously it does not get better reception or you would probably still have it. The Gps does not work which you have stated yourself. But you will probably come back with an excuse for that too like you do everything else. If the Atomic is as you say a "cheaper" version of Vapor, then why why is it made out of a higher grade aluminum? You really need to do some investigating and look at the facts before you post because your starting to get into technical details with me about the two products that I have owned and studied very close and I don't think you want to really do there. The only interior difference between the two is that Element uses 4 pieces of....something they call absorbing material on the inside of their case. My case had very little reception issues but did suffer from in the GPS area. I took video of that also working perfectly. Remember what I do for a living? And yes I am a developer and tester for Apple and no I am not running 4.1, I am actually running a beta version of 4.2. Listen, I don't come on here to argue like you. I have a business to run. I do very well, I am not a 18 year old like you obviously are. I mean lets just face it. I have a Masters Degree but you probably have a Doctorate. Your probably better looking, smarter, funnier, make more money, have a nicer home, have a better looking girlfriend/wife, a better athlete. Your better than me in every area, lets just get that out there because all you do is quote, you don't provide facts, all you do is argue. I mean really, do just sit in front of your computer all day and tell people how smart you are and I bet your the toughest guy on your block too huh? He runs through different features of the case. Not in any great detail. he said it was his first review so didn't cover near as much as could have been covered. ( it's not easy putting together a good review without the experience ) but he did say he has no problems with reception. And he really seems to be in love with it.

I guess I touched a nerve. Your bias is obvious, I simply posted my initial thoughts and feedback. You talk out of both sides of your mouth, get called on changing your story, and can't hold a logical conversation. You Say the atomic is better but only after you "fixed" it, of course the element would do exactly the same thing if you "fixed it" also. I don't have much hope if you are the guy testing software for Apple.
