Of course he is, did you look at the picture? It doesn't have a value in the quantity shipped column. That takes like two seconds for a novice on Photoshop to do.

I ordered right after you and mine still says backordered 1 too.
So is there anyone who ordered through PREMIER on the 14th, whose order status shows the 15th (or later) get their backorder quantity changed from 1 to 0?
Because I ordered a 32GB Black at 7:15am on the 14th and my order status still shows 15th and quantity backordered is still at 1.

There have been a few reports of this happening, but I think most of us in this situation are still backordered.

I was watching Netflix on my computer and an email came through from AT&T status updates. I was about to explode because I thought it was my shipment notification. I had forgotten that I just ordered a micro-sim for my mom to use my iPhone 4S. How dumb of me. Haha anyways, the happiness was nice whilst it lasted.
On a side note, if any of us we're ever tried for something we could easily plead insane and simply show them that we were involved in this thread. Haha
I have gotten all three emails (two confirmation, one CSS) and a text message and have never had any backordered. Ordered at 3 AM Est on Friday. It's coming.

my guess is there's not much available white iPhones. the produced more black ones 'cause even my other black iPhone (11:20a cst) went off backordered a while ago. so it's a sign there are more black iPhones produced. i'm still crossing my fingers for a white tomorrow.
A White 32GB iPhone that I ordered through Premier at 9:30 AM EST on the 14th (But shows the 15th) changed to 0 within the last 40 minutes.
I also ordered with Discover. I called this morning because the pending charge was gone but the available balance did not go back up. They said the hold is still on there but it does not show when I look online, she could see the pending charge.

I ordered in AT&T store, at 4:39 pm EST, and I still have back ordered. I think everyone who ordered Friday and doesn't have a problem will get their phones this Friday, just a feeling.

I ordered two 16gb blacks at around 7:10 am est on the 14th, and my order page says 15th. Somehow the phone which I ordered second has just got a "0" under the quantity backordered, whereas the one i ordered a couple minutes earlier is still at 1.
I've still only received 1 email about receiving the order. Nothing since. No backorder status. Noting but processing order. Starting to get a little pissed, but it is only Tuesday.
I am seriously fed up with this whole process. Never again!!

I ordered the same phone at the same time on Premier site and my order date also changed to 9/15. Still backordered..
Soo, this is what I have to add to this thread.
I ordered as soon as I could on 09/14
Started trying at 3AM EDT. After Apple.com didn't go live for me (Cache / cookies issue) and the Apple Store App on my iPhone 4 wouldn't complete my order, I went to AT&T.com and managed to get in at 3:17AM EDT to place my order for a 32GB black iPhone 5.
The order went through smoothly and was immediately sent a text based confirmation email followed up by a formatted HTML confirmation stating that my iPhone 5 would be delivered on 09/21. I feel confident that it will.
AT&T put a hold on $317 USD which sat there from the night I ordered the phone until yesterday or today. Now there's no hold charge and my bank account shows the funds as accessible. I remember this also being the case when i pre-ordered my iPhone 4 in 2010.
In 2010 I received my iPhone 4 a day before launch day, on Thursday and it was just like this.
This is the first confirmation email I received at 03:17am EDT
My current order status: Order confirmed 3:17am EDT on 09/14/2012, In Progress
To add, I was never on backorder that I could tell. I checked order status daily.
