ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

From the 111 pages and over 2700+ posts I have come to the conclusion that time isn't the only criteria that gets your backorder to 0. Obviously your order in the queue depends only on time but backorder depends on factors such as model/type of the phone, time, payment status, location of the warehouse with respect to yours (farther may ship early to cut time) etc. So chill and wait until tomorrow evening. There's enough time :)
 
LOL, I think everyone is checking their status now, because I'm not getting:

Premiere off back order with 9/15 date

I ordered a white 32 GB 9/14 at 9:30 AM EST, premiere. Received email for 21st with activation instructions. Next day, order status on one site showed a date of 9/15 and back order 1, other site still showed my 9/14 actual order. 9:15 EST tonight, back order went to 0. No email, nothing else of note.

Guess I might get one Friday...we'll see.

mine isnt back ordered, cant remember if it ever was, hasnt been since i saw that site earlier today. i guess what i meant was, do the back ordered phones show "pending shipment" in the tracking number area of that site.

nevermind, as the back ordered post right above this has pending shipment as well. doesnt make me feel as well as if it said something different.

Seriously, out of this many pages and number of posters and there have bee 2 FAKE shipping statements. Come on guys, we are all here to help out the greater good, not create more jealousy.
If you made it this far in the post then you obviously care a great amount about when/where your new phone is and how its getting to you.
Don't be the 1% thats a dou***.
ps, wooo hooo for my base getting a small amount of iphones at the store fri morning. - im in the military, figured on base would be my best bet for waiting in line/ getting my 2nd 5 per in person at the kiosk in the exchange. :D

It is pretty bad. The "shipped" text is all fuzzy.

Anyways, I leisurely ordered an iPhone 5 black at 11:35 am EDT on the premier site. Mine's no longer backordered either....think I'll probably get it the 21st.

Don't really care much since it's my brother's who I'm ordering for in SF since ATT doesn't allow people to order to anywhere other than billing add.

I was smart and ordered my other brother's and mine from Apple, which happens to be currently sitting in Illinoise.:D
 
Everyone should just chill out and do what I am doing:

put on Pandora and drink cheap beer you bought at Trader Joes. It's not so bad, at $3.50 a six pack. It's like college all over again.

Then you can wake up Friday and maybe you'll have a phone :cool: Who cares about that 8-5 job, right?
 
From the looks of it, the att order status site is down. Good job guys, you broke it along with ATT chat for checking your order.
 
I ordered like 6:15a on Friday on the Premier site.

Mine went from back ordered 1 to 0 in just the last hour or so.
