Looks like it since that is likely the most popular. Mine was 16 GB black and it no longer shows as backordered. Well showed, the site is down now it seems.
Ordered my Black 16gb at 1:00 am PST 9/14 still shows "Pending Shipment" 1 backordered.
I'm sure I'll get it on time but my goodness this has been a long week.
At least I get to mess around with iOS 6 tomorrow to take my mind off of it.
I am going to take your word on this over at&t's I just want my phone my this weekend.
it's still backordered. they need to cut the micro sim card to the size that will fit in the iPhone 5. to be followed up via USPS priority mail.
oh yea. heard white16 are coming from china. so we have to see tomorrow for backordered activities.

ordered mine on 9/14 before 9am PT. saw the authorization on my CC and got an email saying i'd be getting it on 9/21. over the weekend, the authorization drops off and my order is still pending. i call today and they say they had an issue with my CC. i get it all resolved and now it says my order was placed today?? 😕
i called back and they said they show the order being placed on the 14th, and that i should have no issues. i talk to a lady in chat and she says i won't be getting it til October? i then call them back and they say i'm fine. i have no idea what to believe. order has a date of 9/18 and backorder quantity of 1 listed on the order status site.

Ordered the black 16gb at 7am CDT on the 14th. Premier account showed 14th but regular AT&T site showed 15th. Anyway, now shows 0 under back order in the last 1 hour. Hope that helps.

Finally got the AT&T order status site to work. AT&T CCR says my order went through on 9/17 which is when the card was charged but Premiere says the order actually went through on 9/14 with a $1.00 charge on my card until the full amount was put on hold (credit card statement reflects this). Right now I am showing Black 16GB and White 16GB both backordered with Pending Shipment as the status... Looks like a lot of people are seeing the same thing so I have high hopes but we will see what changes tomorrow... At least now I know where I stand... (kind of)

Just noticed that page says order date 9/15 but I ordered at 7 AM on Friday 9/14. Took a while for it to get through the initial processing I guess.

Just curious... does the order number on the "regular site" show a different order number. I am starting to think premier orders were actually "processed" into real "orders" by humans on late Friday / Saturday... which would explain why the delay in dates on the "regular site" .. not saying it makes a difference in who will get... but would explain why I am stuck in the purgatory of not having an order on the "regular site".

My issue was similar... If you are a premiere customer then AT&T Customer Service Reps have no idea what they are talking about (lady you spoke with via chat). The person you talked to on the phone is the person I would listen to. I wouldn't freak out until at least tomorrow evening if it is still showing backordered.
