ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Well my friend... You and I are definitely both in the same situation here... I honestly think premiere has it right because that is a whole different ordering system. The AT&T system shows you the day the order was paid for and then the order status... I think we will be ok. Let me know if yours changes so I can have some additional hope... I'll keep checking mine as well. I have a black and a white on separate orders and both are showing backordered right now.

Why would I be bitter? I didn't want the iphone 4s or I would have bought it.
As a result, I got a full subsity anyway and didn't shell out cash for a 4s I didn't want.

dude. the size of the sim card. you don't read posts. do i have to explain that i was joking when i said the sim card was needed to be cut in a nano template size and be shipped separately via USPS priority mail? you don't understand any sort of "joke"?
I see that a lot of you guys pre-ordered from att premier instead of main att.com why is that?
Just got my email from AT&T that said the same thing the first one said
"We wanted to confirm that your order is reserved and should arrive as soon as September 21, 2012."
So no new information but at least I'm positive and hoping it will be here on Friday as I leave for vacation on Sunday.

Was the Subject Line changed from "Your recent ATT order status" to "Final Order Confirmation?" If so, then I would say it's way better news.

I received the same email. I am still on backorder, but I believe that they may find a phone for you soon from the stock of people who cancelled.
yeah but i've seen other people on this thread that have been 1130EST and still off of backorder.... i'm at 11:02 EST... still backorder
i thought the rumored cutoff was at 9EDT? which would still be accurate according to the above poster
We had no choice. If you have a discount through your employer or school you are automatically directed to premiere ordering when you go to order something on att.com.

I dunno. I guess it doesn't matter cause i am going to bed at this point. But the point is it is redundant. Everyone is going to a non back order status tonight. The idea is to see who is going from in progress to shipping tonight or tomorrow morning etc. Anyways, if for some reason i get a shipping email or something i will come let you guys know.
These iPhone launch weeks have to be absolute hell for the AT&T CSRs - nothing but impatient Apple fans blasting them constantly ...
Sad thing is I did get up at a god awful hour to get this phone. I couldn't get through on the phone in time so I had to go into school and order at 4:30 so I can't get it for 2 weeks now. I really hope I get it Friday.
