Also noticed on the second email

My apt/unit number is NOT in the second email as in the first... Got a little worried about that. Anyone else seeing this if you have a apt/unit as your shipping/billing address?
 
Just got the "odd text" email. Same as we have been seeing here recently on the forum. Wondering why the are sending out and email basically restating the original email. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Probably a plea for people to chill out and let progress happen! lol

Delivery time

Not sure if someone else has posted this already, but I just got off the phone with AT&T trying to see if anyone who preordered their phone with them online was going to receive it on the 21st. They stated that as long as you preordered the phone before 9 am est and accpted the terms and conditions, you will receive the phone on the 21st.
 
Sounds like most of the back order status changes are for premier accounts..... uggh. See the thread about Black edges scuffing??? Wow!! I may have to switch to white in the 30 day window.
 
I had a pending charge which has disappeared. Anyone else have that? Ordered at 3:00 am est. still unable to track

Yeah, the pending charge disappeared from my cc account too, but it's probably just in process between pending and completed. I wouldn't worry.

I ordered at 03:34 and my order shows as "In Progress" (being processed for shipment) and back-ordered as "0".

I think all is well,

I ordered a black 32gb and a 16gb at 7:12am PST on the 14th through premier.

Both just went back order 0 and I received this email:

I ordered my iPhone 5 black 64gb on the 14th at 7:30am EST through the Premier website.

At 10:18 PM EST today I received the email below.. Excited, I checked my Premier order status page and it has not changed; but in checking the other order status page it now says pending shipment!! See attached image.

I too was wondering why it was basically the same e-mail as the initial e-mail about ordering... Must mean something though....

Compare the two order numbers if you could. Mine starts off the same but has a "-" followed by 10 numbers. Not sure what those 10 numbers are though.

Maybe Customers are receiving this email, because internally they are physically prepping the phone to ship?

I never had to accept any ToS ... I am an older member, premiere account.
 
I hope apple is just fu***** with us all, and the people who pre-ordered before they announced they were out, will be getting them on time. I wouldn't be too upset. a little, but not too much!:D
 
Just got the email for one of my two Premier orders (socal, 64GB/BLK, 9/14 3:45a PT). It doesn't list the floor/suite number of my office though (the number is in the initial confirmation email and the status page).
 
Question, are only PREMIERE members getting their backordered changed from 1 to 0? I am not a premiere member but it seems like those who are posting about it are.

Mine still says backorder even though I placed my order about an hour after ordering went live.
 
I had to click a box acknowledging that I agreed to the TOS before I could press the Order button. I am a younger member, peon account. :)

odd, never had to do that...orders gone through, charged, and already received a few more emails acknowledging them tonight, haha.

Yeah that is what I have been noticing. I personally have not received one email from AT&T In regards of my order. I have had to call them almost everyday to make sure nothing is wrong with my order seeing as I never even received the terms and conditions email. Though they said everything looks correct and since I ordered before that time I should get it on the 21st. Not holding my breath though.
 
New Email ATT

Just received a new email stating ill get my two 16g white and black ip5.
I ordered by phone at 6am or so on the 14th. i original got a email stating a shipping date of the 21st. then on sunday another one stating 14-21 days.
today i got this.

Likewise! I haven't gotten a single damn email since I placed my order and if it wasn't for me periodically calling in to check up on my order, I would be completely left in the dark!

ATT has seriously dropped the ball with this whole ordering system. Had I known it was going to be a nightmare like this, I would have just purchased from a brick and mortar store.

Hey, when I check online UPS I see my shipment in AK at the moment. But when I sign in apple it says preparing for shipment. Anyone else in the same boat as me?
