Is there any evidence of an in-store pre-order made within the "cut off" time having their back order status change from 1 to 0?
 
My order changed from 1 to 0 on back order on Sunday. Still says pending shipment and no new emails. Received two emails. Right after I placed my order at 4:11am EST. Second email had both of my numbers since I signed up for a new account.

Not sure myself. Ive got a fan discount and always get sent to the business side of att. Maybe thats why. Do u have a fan discount and deal with the business
Side when u call in to at&t?

Yes, I have a Foundation Account Number associated with my businesses multiple business phones. I unfortunately get forced to contact the Business Reps. Sometimes it works out great and has its advantages, but most of the time it seems to be a pain, like I can't buy phones from places like Best Buy or Apple.com. I have to deal with the Business Reps.
 
My apt/unit number is NOT in the second email as in the first... Got a little worried about that. Anyone else seeing this if you have a apt/unit as your shipping/billing address?

Same here. But I do have that in the confirmation email so I am not too worried about that. I guess it just ignore/skipped that part. Now that you have mentioned it is the case with yours too, I am even more sure :)

Ordered 16GB Blsak at 7:45ish am on the 14th via premier.

Back order went to 0 at 1pm, received CSS email at 6:30pm, and just now received the "Your AT&T Premier Order" at 10:55pm. Things are looking good, but either way I'll be satisfied to receive an iPhone 5 on Friday or maybe next week. The email said as soon as the 21st, so he's to hoping!

So I have been following these posts mostly from the beginning and wanted to wait until I was able to at least view my order online before commenting. I have a similar story as many others--tried for many hours to get through online at ATT, finally got through via phone at 0649 on the 14th. The CSR screwed up and charged me twice so I have two charges for one phone (but she did credit my account $100). I did get my T&C email as I was talking to the rep and had it signed and submitted at that time as well. I then did not receive any more emails that day and to make this long story shorter, between then and now I have made several contacts as I could not view my order on line, had no other info regarding it and no one knew why. Well today I finally received an email that shows an order date of today the 18th!!! I have been through so much anger and frustration im not sure it even phased me. I am also able to check my order status for the first time and it shows shipment pending so I do not know what to think. Not sure if the email just shows that 18th date because it wasnt able to get processed until today due to whatever the error was. Just don't know if I'm gonna get it Friday like the rest of you who ordered around that time or not. This will be my sixth iPhone and first pre-order and I am exhausted!!! May have to go back to the waiting in line thing.

my white 32gb is not in backordered anymore, but my 64gb is..ordered at 8am cst @ ATT.com.


I got the exact same email at 10:30.
 
Same here. Ordered at about 7:15am CT. Got a conformation email and order status says 0 under back-order and still "processing" order. Glad i'm not alone. If my phone doesn't get here by Saturday, i'm asking AT&T to waive the upgrade fee or something along those lines... though that probably won't happen.
 
got the CSS email and my Premier order email just now, i hope they just arent toying with my emotions, i would be sour.
