i have the same problem except mine is on the 15th, at&t's processing thing sucks big time.

FINALLY Some Activity .... When I click the link no FedEd info shows up like I saw on the last page for another member.
Just glad to see this since most of us here are getting this same thing and it looks like we are good to go for launch day from what I can tell.
Hopefully the FedEx link updates soon so I can see the delivery date as the 21st and put my mind to ease.

I've had it with AT&T! This is so ****ing dumb! I order on the 14th and my credit card did not get through until the 15th and now my order date is on the 15th. **** you AT&T.
Kind of weird but one of the iPhone 5s I ordered finally came up today through ATT with a FedEx tracking number, but the tracking number pulls up no information. If you go and track through UPS via reference information it pulls up the tracking information in route for Friday delivery. Maybe that will work for others as well.

I ordered on the 14th, everything went normal, but AT&T shows that I ordered on the 15th. My backordered sits at 0 and I've got pretty high hopes it's going to get a tracking number tomorrow. Even if it doesn't get a tracking number, I've heard people received their 4S last year before the site was even updated!
Anyone posting that theirs shipped: If you'd be kind enough to denote whether or not you're Premier, I think we'd appreciate it

So you went to UPS tracking and typed in the number given from AT&T for shipping? I don't get it?

You have a FedEx tracking number but when you click it, nothing comes up on the page. Same thing with me...
So you went to UPS.com and typed in your number and it shows the order enroute for Friday?
I had been told people were tracking via UPS/FedEx by putting track by reference it then asks for shipment reference where you put your wireless number that the iPhone is coming to and then put in your destination country and zip code and it may track. Worked for one of my iPhones and then later i saw the FedEx tracking number that came up with no information. My other iPhone still has no tracking and does not come up on UPS either.

I'll keep that in mind. It's annoying when the CSRs give you scripted crap that doesn't even answer your question. Ask a question and get a question. Back to watching Breaking Bad...

I know what you're talking about ... last year when the 4S was shipped the UPS site had no info but when tracked via reference with a phone number it was their.
Doesn't seem like it's working on FedEx right now though for those of us with no tracking info.

ok, here's what we think we know so far....
So I've read through this entire thing, because I find it entertaining, and I have to admit, I bought into the hype as well a bit.
I'll start with my details:
ordered a 32GB Black IP5 at 9:02am est through premiere on the web. Got order confirmation email almost right away. Order status site showed my order as being placed on the 15th, though I believe that this is when they placed the hold on my $317. Sat and waited and watched this thread, went to the bar tonight and happened to check my phone. Got an email from premiere once again stating my order confirmation. Got home and checked and I am no longer backordered, probably since 11:35pm set tonight, though that is a guess. I think I'm going to get my phone on the 21st, but if I don't, what can I do about it? I'll sit and wait, and enjoy it that much more when it finally comes.
Here's what we know for fact about this ordering process:
Nothing
Here's what this thread and the hive-mind thinks it knows:
if you come off backorder before tomorrow night, you will most likely get your phone on Friday. We don't know this to be fact, but wishful thinking and all that.
The 9am PST cuttoff: There is no such thing. They believe that this is when they ran out of phones to fulfill orders placed online, but no one knows for sure. What we do know is that there is a finite amount of phones and it's not like they said "Hey, no matter where we are with the orders, at 9am pst, cut 'em off". They run out when they run out, and then if you order past that time, you have to wait. Them's the facts of life. They might have run out of 16GB white at 7:30am pst, but still have a bunch of 32gb black sitting there, waiting to be ordered. No one knows.

Who knows what is really going on? I like to believe that since my status changed, I'll get my phone, but until I get a shipping confirmation with tracking info, I'm not holding my breath on anything.
To all those that are furiously raging mad-cow disease angry at the process:
Shut up and go stand in line. This happens every time a new iphone is released, and if you don't know by now, then school of hard knocks and all that. You are not entitled, you are lucky. Lucky to live in a place where your biggest worry is whether you will receive your new phone on the 21st or not. Kick on your xbox, throw call of duty in the tray, talk about someones mom, and shoot some things while biding your time to see if you made the cut or not.
Bottom line: It's all conjecture until shipping notices are received. The world is still turning and will continue to, even if you have to wait 10-14 days for your new phone.
This wasn't meant to poke fun at anyone, but to give a little perspective. I Hope you all have a wonderful day.
