Got my confirmation email over night. Still have option to cancel. Show zeros for back order. Credit card still shows pending charge. Ordered at 7:59am and 8:02am two 32GB black iPhones.

P.S: Before people are wondering why it says 9/16/12 or another date, it is because that is the date they assigned you an iPhone and took away the 'Backordered QTY'

My ship date on both sites is 9/17. I doubt that's right. I also have my tracking number but it still says in progress.

I think it is that way for most of us. Some others have mocked the fact that the 2 order pages are not synced. Tracking number means label has been created....which means we lucked out and got ours ordered in time to avoid the horrible wait times.

Evidently I should have ordered a 32/black as there has been very few 64/blacks filled. I don't think its panic time until tomorrow at noon. For reference Apple still hasn't sent me tracking info yet even though that phone has shipped.

I have been quietly reading the posts all over the board, and in this thread in particular, and have been worried about my pre order, then I see a post that put my mind at ease. THen, Something else that makes me worry.

I ordered at about 5:30 AM CST FRiday and have been in "pre order processing" ever since. Well this morning I get a confirmation email and now when I Checked the order status (via link on page 80) I get UPS tracking numbers.

My only question is: What is the Sim card item that is also listed?

BTW, I ordered a 32g black

Ordered by phone on 9-14 and received my terms and conditions acceptance email at 10:08 CST and immediately sent it back. Still on backorder. I think during the iphone 4 release there were some people who had the backorder status and the phone actually delivered on launch day.

Current status : moved from back order yesterday night but still shows in process.

Charge was dropped yesterday night but the bank confirm they only hold for 4 days... But they can send final charge anytime.

Fingers crossed not expecting on Friday. As few mentioned it's not end of the world. But would have loved it if have it on Friday

My backorder went to 0 some time Saturday and I didn't get this second email until 10:20 tonight. Don't worry.

Thinking about it, I did a customer service satisfaction survey on Sat through text message asking about my service at the store.
