ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Shipped and not in order system until 9/15!

Guess we are all OC but AtT Premier did not help by saying 14-21. Kept checking and just this second mine switched to ship!
Ordered thru Premier on 9/14 7:15 am-in other system on 9/15 with different order number. Went off back order late Monday night, I think. Got new confirm letter last night. No change this a.m. Until just now at 8:45. Now says shipped but does not say carrier. Who cares it shipped. Further info white 64 FLorida. Hope for all. What a waste of 6 days. We are all obsessive on this site and make ourselves crazy for no reason. My husband will confirm, LOL!
 
Got my FedEx tracking number too. It's not live in the system yet, though.

I'm hoping that FedEx allows me to do a hold at FedEx location prior to delivery attempt (they can do that for a lot of shipments), as I'm going to be away from my house for a good portion of the day on Friday. If I can have them hold it, I'll just swing by on my way to work and pick it up.
 
I ordered two 16GB black iPhone 5 phones through Premier on the 14th. My earlier order, from 7:37 AM EDT, is still on backorder. The order from 7:41 AM EDT went off backorder several days ago, and is now showing as having been shipped along with having a UPS tracking number. What reason could AT&T have for shipping my orders out of sequence? I remember there being similar issues when I preordered my iPhone 4 two years ago with later orders shipping before earlier ones.

I posted earlier this morning that they told me the shipper had put restrictions on holds. I wanted to do the same thing.
 
AT&T is so backwards. Regular customers orders show still in progress with tracking numbers and premier customer status says shipped with no tracking numbers
 
I still have no tracking info. Mine just went off backorderd sometime overnight last night. Ordered 10:25am EST 14th but for some reason order status shows that i orderd on the 15th. I did get that mass e-mail though reinstating to confirm that I will be receiving mine on/before this Friday. Hoping to get some tracking info today or tomorrow!! yipee!!
 
I got a fedex tracking number. Interestingly when i try it on the phone it shows processing. When i tried it with the links you guys provided it gave me the fedex tracking number this morning. Odd though the authorization dropped off my account last night, and it doesn't show a charge to my Chase???? Did anyone else have that happen to them???

Kinda disappointing for those still waiting for "official" shipping confirm. I checked my FedEx acct too and it shows nothing from ATT inbound yet either. I wonder if they turned off alternative tracking for iPhones for security purposes. Usually it will work once shipping info has been transmitted to them.
 
Woke up to the same thing as most of you... I have a ship date of 9/17/12 and a FEDEX tracking number. The number isn't live yet either, but looks like AT&T is going to make the 9/21/12 date.

Fact is, I have been wanting a Macbook Air for some time now but haven't been able to afford it. Not to mention my old Macbook is perfect and will probably never die so the new phone is helping me with my "new product" addiction. I just have to hang on until Friday.

Question....I'm seeing a lot of peple shipping FedEx...mine is coming UPS...any idea why? It really doesn't matter to me, I'm thrilled to be getting my phone Friday, just curious since Fedex always gets to my house before 1:00 - UPS usually after 6pm.

On my way to work, I walk pass the Apple store in Philly every morning...I can't wait to see how many people are out there on Friday!
 
ordered 9/14 @ 1am but never received any email (saved confirmation page, and order looked fine in the system). finally called monday to find out that they needed to "verify some information". they asked 4 questions, said I am good to go ... THEN said based on my order date of 9/17 (WHAT?!?!?) it would ship in 14-21. tried to argue but quickly came to the conclusion that ATT CSRs have about as much control as you or i. they couldn't even resend the email that never came (yes, I checked my junk folder ... about 20 times). i STILL haven't gotten any emails! :/

i'm jealous of all of you first-wavers. enjoy! i should have been one of you. :mad:

Got my tracking number and my authorization dropped off too. The authorization for my AT&T wireless bill payment that got paid on the 14th went away too and never actually posted either.

Used this, got my tracking number from fedex. Like you guys, i tried it and it is not live yet. Waiting for my email confirmation. But this is good enough for me. At least i know that it will be shipped to me this week. I am posting a pic. Did anyone have their authorization fall off but didn't actually receive a charge yet? Odd that Chase restored my full balance but now AT&T is showing shipped?

Authorizations automatically fall off if the official charge isn't submitted w/ 3-5 days. I've ordered many things where the actual charge didn't hit my acct for a week after I received it. Don't worry, they'll catch up with you. The charge is the last thing they do.
