Has anyone had their backorder status change this morning? Would help me feel better to hear that they are still assigning phones to backorders this morning.

Also - as a suggestion - if you post a status of your phone please make sure to include:

time you ordered (including time zone0
Phone you ordered
How you ordered (Premier online, Regular online, in-store)
Your backorder status (and when this changed if you know)

Sigh. Oh well looks like I won't be getting mine anytime soon.
Even though my 4 never went off backorder or stated shipped until the day of or after my phone arrived on release day.

So what you're saying is that you preordered your 4 and it never went off "backordered" status? This might give some people hope that it will ship anyways if identical phones from a later order time might ship without us knowing. Thanks for the info mate!
 
Mine is still on back order. Place order on 9/14 via Premier but shows at 9/15 on the regular ATT site. Do you think I have a chance to get it this Friday? I ordered the 64GB black. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Still have chance. I was same. 64gb white. Ordered 715 am est 9/14. In regular AT&T site 9/15. 845 am changed to snip with no ship name/info.
 
CSS email

What does the CSS email mean? My order status still states processing and tracking info states pending shipment but a received an email titled "AT&T Customer Care for Wireless". Does this have anything to do with my iPhone 5's shipping and being delivered by 9/21 like my confirmation email stated?
 
I ordered mine at abt 6:40am EST. I ordered the iphone 5 32gb black. Backorder status went from 1 to 0 last nite and i got an email from att saying the my phone has been reserved n will receive as soon as sept 21. A reminder email will be sent withtracking number when the phobe is shipped.

My att order status pager also shows ordered on Sep.15 like you, but I actually through premier 8:18am EST. White 16GB. My status is still pending shipment. When did you see you status changed?
last I checked was last night about 9:30pm. I received the second email at 12am; I checked my status at 7am this morning and it was already changed to "shipped"
 
I have noticed that people whose orders are shipped already have their order numbers starting as "EXTP" while mine just starts with 91XX-XXXXXXX. So does that mean EXTP is higher priority?

My order has shipped and I have a 91XX-XXXXXXX order number just like you.

FYI from the "other" ATT shipping thread regarding FedEx Tracking:

You will not have any data from fedex until it is actually scanned by them. Our software does not allow us to send the data behind the label to fedex. It's simply a zip code as far as they're concerned.


All of our shipments are going to be next day air, and of course they will not be processed by fedex until tomorrow in order to prevent your grimy hands touching our product until release day :)

CSS is the thumbnail terms of your new contract (voice, data, text plan, cost, EFT fee, etc). Getting this is a good sign your phone is moving forward to being shipped soon.
 
Ordered black 16g via Premier phone agent at about 11 am CDT on 9/14.

Was told by agent and email 14-21 days and site said back ordered. I have an EXP order number.

Status changed to Shipped sometime this morning before 7 am CDT. No tracking yet.
 
"Processing"

I'm worried as mine still says "Processing" on my ATT account. I ordered at 3:09am EST , not sure why I have no information regarding my order. And my CC still has "Pre-Auth" with a pending payment. . . . You'd think I'd have some info 2 days before I should get the actual product.
 
So pissed. Ordered Friday 8pm. Order status says I ordered 9/17 :(. I ordered over the phone, accepted TnC at 830. CsR told me I accepted them Saturday morning. But my email didn't come until Monday at 345pm. *639# didn't say anything, was updated until Monday. So I kinda of got screwed by 3 days.

Sounds plausible but im weary on anything a person whos username is "GFLovesMy9Inchr" says.
 
Ordered mine on 9/15 at 1:30pm because apple canceled my order. Ordered a 64g white and ATT gave me next day delivery and my status just turned to shipped.

They still have two full business days (today and tomorrow). If you are not b/o then you should be good to go.
 
Received this email earlier as a premier customer and status changed to SHIPPED with trackingID. Ordered at 7:28am EST on the 14th. Order date shows, Sept 15th on att website!!

Ordered 32GB black at 7:35am EST on 7/14 through Premier online (order date on regular site shows 9/15). While I was sleeping last night my backorder status went from 1 to 0. I also got the 2nd email from Premier at 11:23pm (same as guy above me) so I think that coincides with you getting assigned a phone. Still no tracking info but I assume that's coming very soon...
 
Has anyone who ordered 14th and in system
On 15th got shipping? Anyone who called AT&T and told 13-21 days got shipping? My original concern from Premier is starting to look valid that if your batch of orders did not get entered until the 15th, you may not get it for. 14-21 days even if you were one of the first to order. Lousy order entry clerk!!!

I ordered on the 14th, system shows the 15th. At 930pm last night I was still back order=1 and spoke to an ATT rep. She said it looked like I'd be in the October 4th-15th group. She sounded exhausted. No harm, I figured.

About an hour later, I got the second email, checked my status and it moved to back order =0. I'm hopefully based on the times people are getting shipping info mine should ship today.
 
My 16gb White is showing as shipped

No tracking number yet though-

I ordered at 7:14 am MST on 9/14. I am a Premier customer.
