ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Regional Hub

Someone was mentioning regional hubs......My tracking numbers finally work and it shows mine is coming out of the TX hub. I live in VA just outside of DC.

If TN is a hub, as others have mentioned, it would be weird that mine came from TX considering I can drive to TN in less than 6 hours. Unless that is where Premier orders are being fulfilled?

Does anyone else have a different departure location?

Also, another weird thing. It is 5:45 EST here. Meaning, it is 4:45 in TX. The pickup date/time from them is in the future.

AT&T's website is interesting if not perplexing. Yesterday, my status while still in processing, had FedEx assigned as the shipper. That progress appears to have been backpedaled. When I bring up my order, it showed Shipped. However when I expanded my order, it went back to processing and FedEx was removed and it appeares my phone plan was added. Oh and what is An IDB Dummy Sim? Apparently I am getting one of those too. At least my iP4 still works while limbo does it thing.
 
Whose went to "Shipped" yesterday but w/ no shipper or tracking info posted & that info still hasn't populated to the status screen?

UPDATE:

UPS MyChoice notice was in my mail this AM alerting me my iPhone would be delivered tomorrow. ATT's site still has no carrier or tracking info, and oddly enough, if I track by reference @ UPS nothing comes up either.

SO moral of the story is that if your order says "shipped" you'll likely get it tomorrow even if you don't get, or can't locate tracking info.

AND please for the sake of the children, please, please do not call or chat with ATT. It's just been disclosed that earlier this week a T-Mobile crew broke into ATT HQ, corralled everyone into the supply closet, & guarded by two very large tabby cats, and an orangutan named Balmo. T-Mobile is now running a psy-ops against all ATT customers. They have taken control of all modes of ATT communication and have sworn if they are removed by police before 7/21 that Balmo will give ATT CEO Stephenson a huge french kiss.

<Last paragraph is a joke -- but seriously, stay away from ATT CSRs or they will own your head, and isn't your wallet enough...too much even?>

Carrier and tracking number has finally filled my Order Status Page after about 7 hours (though I had it from the Premier page hours ago) FedEx Standard Overnight, so it should arrive Friday, Sep 21, 2012 by 3:00 PM!

Yeah mine is in Texas also. Seems like everyone who has fedex delivery, has their phone chillin in Texas right now.
 
Well. After days of "processing" or "in progress" my order has disappeared without a trace. AT&T says they can't trace an order placed within the past 24 hours. I order the phone early Friday AM. All bank charges are gone. I got no e-mail or text. WTF?

And being an asshat doesn't solve problems either. How in any way is my post less important than anyone else's?
 
I'm REALLY sorry to everyone whose status hasn't changed yet...but all of my screens say complete and shipped! Even the Premier site. Woohoo...now if only UPS would update the shipping so I can track it!

Got my tracking number finally! I am located in Louisville, KY, and it originated in Indianapolis and then went to TX?? Weird!! Ordered my 32GB White at 5:37 a.m. EST online, then called CSR and she manually put in my CC info (it was wrong zip code so did not process) and it was finalized at 10:10 a.m. EST on 9/14. Tracking says it will arrive on 9/21 by 3 pm. Goodluck everyone!
 
I checked again this morning. Still says shipped but no tracking info. Order status changed to N/A so who knows where it is.

EDIT:

Btw, I still don't see any info under tracking or carrier in my AT&T order status page. I received this info via Premier email and my Premier order page now says "Shipped- Track Shipment". Up until this point, that page was just saying "Preorder Processing" with a cancel pre order button.

Make sure the # you entered corresponds to the tracking method; i.e., by cell number or order#.
 
Ordered 8:50AM EST 9/14 through Premier, still shows as backordered.

I got an email last friday saying "Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012.".

Then yesterday at 3:30PM I got another copy of the order confirmation email stating "We wanted to confirm that your order is reserved and will ship in approximately 14 ? 21 business days."

How nice of them.
 
Ups shipping

im one of the ones who had carrier and tracking blank,just realized if i track from att website it shows tracking and its UPS! so i think all who are blank they had to switch to UPS and its even sweeter for me because im a UPS driver so i go in friday morning sign for it from my driver at 7am

I got the 14-21 day email yesterday too but then right after that my order changed to shipped on the status page, no tracking info yet though. I don't know WTF is going on.
