One of my phones was ORDERED on 9/15 and is already on its way via UPS. White 32GB. Ported from a Sprint number.

Trust me, I was not expecting it to ship for 14-21 days!

Mine was ported from sprint too.. Im pissed. Thinking about hitting up the apple store tomorrow and canceling my order if I get lucky enough to get the phones!!
 
Check order status on AT&T using link in my signature line.
There is a column for "back-order" and a column for "ordered".

Ok I did that, mine says Status: In Progress, Quantity Ordered 1, Quantity Back-ordered 1, Tracking Number: Pending Shipment

So...despite no further e-mail indicating a 9/21/14 shipment for me...it's quite possible that I could receive it tomorrow? (Crossing fingers and toes.)
 
Same. I live in Seattle and might started in Indiana and went to Texas. Wrong flight pattern ? :).

Exactly I have no idea. Everything says 6:00 so I don't know if it went from TX to Indiana or the other way around. Which for me it doesn't make much sense since neither are close to NC but oh well.

So they received your order and next step is for a phone to be assigned to you. Once that "1" under back-order goes to 0, things start moving.
 
Just got this text from AT&T, ordered 9.14 at 10:04EST. IS THIS GOOD?!

No idea but I haven't received any emails or texts about my order at all even though i have tracking. I wish they were more consistent. It's like half the people get this and the other half gets that. Nothing makes any sense
 
99% sure these orders aren't eligible for hold.

What makes you think this?

Often times the "hold" option is "not available" until the package has reached the initial hub.

In my experience, once it has passed the origin hub and is in transit to your local satellite processing center is when the redirect becomes active.

After that as long as you catch it before they have loaded it onto your local delivery truck they get a HAL (Hold At Location) decal on it and redirect it to your chosen FedEx location.

If it is already on the local delivery truck then it is too late and it wont be redirected until the NEXT delivery day.

Timing is the key.

P.S. I've redirected literally 40-50 FedEx packages this way and it works every time! The employees at my local FedEx Office know me by name!
 
LOL I just took the SMS survey that AT&T sent me on Saturday.... Maybe THAT will help my order get out of "Processing/Backorder" status and moving along.......

I could be wrong but the lady at FedEx on the phone this morning said my package is not eligible so I assumed that applies to everyone. Why would mine not be but someone else's is? But I think you are right. It could be that it hasn't reached where I live yet. Thanks for the post.

i recieved this as an email and another email with the subject, "Your iPhone CSS" eariler today, ordered over the phone 10am, blk 32GB, order: 9041, but still says backordered 1 and nothing about tracking or shipped anywhere

My "Your Order Has Shipped!" emails only came about 8-10 hours AFTER the tracking number popped up on the online status page.
 
I'd love to know the number of pageviews this thread, and the ATT order status page has been getting.
 
Any 1910 people? Can you indicate time order was placed and if it was online?

1910 here ordered @ 3:40am cst black 64g. Still says back ordered. I did not receive my confirmation email until 4:30pm sat afternoon. **** u AT&T!

Probably was not eligible AT THAT MOMENT. But it likely will be once it starts moving toward you.

Just catch it before it gets onto your local truck! ;)
