ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I have tracking with delivery tomorrow but I'm still obsessing over this forum and watching the whole thing unfold. Pre order adrenaline at full throttle 
Thought I'd check the status of my order one last time for the night. Crossed my fingers. And the results...are the same.
I'm dreaming that as well.
At this time (10:16pm EST) my phone is still on backorder and my order is still processing.

Any in-store preorder people see any changes at all this evening?
I just find it really odd that the ton of people who preordered at the store (which amounts for a lot, just a lot of them probably don't visit sites like this one online), that 99.9% of them have seen zero progress.
Still have a little faith that in-store preorders (if early enough) will receive their phones tomorrow and that there was just never any updates to their orders. Or maybe I'm just in denial?

beyond belief..but oh well, its just a phone...will get it when I get it.

Yup, I've given up hope. Still on backorder. The only iPhone 5 I'll be seeing is in my dreams. And given how royally ATT screwed up communicating deliveries for Friday, who knows if or when I'll ever actually get it.

Ive talked to 5 different att reps now. 1 said it would be here tomorrow. 2 said it will ship tomorrow, but it is standard 3-5 day shipping instead of next day. 2 said it would be 14-21 days.
basically no one knows anything. No one will let me cancel the order, they say they cant cancel it since it is in the processing phase.
I am a 1406 btw

Soo... thought about an AppleCare or SquareTrade warranty instead?
I've already preregistered my SquareTrade 2-year warranty online for my inbound iPhone 5. There is a 20% discount coupon available online until October.
AFAIK the warranty is close to the same price as a LifeProof case (the best case IMO) and will cover pretty much anything that would happen to the phone. Just buy the warranty and use the phone caseless!
I've been off backorder for a 24 hours now but still nothing under shipped nor any tracking information. Any thoughts?

--- I've been reading this forum since Saturday . Someone posted that when they pre-ordered their iPhone 4 they didn't get any update whatsoever until an hour before it arrived at their door on release date . So there's still a little hope (or just wishful thinking) .
Ahhh, finally out of backorder hell. Canceled the whole f'n thing. What a relief! Screw AT&T. Brainless morons.
