ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Just checked my tracking....I don't like this....

My phone left Dallas Ft. Worth at 9:12p. The phone needs to get to Philly to the sorting station, then to Lawnside NJ and the truck leaves at 6:00am to start deliveries. I don't think this is going to end well for me.

If your delivery date says 9/21 it will be there, don't worry.

So was I. It's not the end of the world that I won't have it tomorrow. I still have my 4S and a 4 as a backup. Life goes on.

I'm pissed at how AT&T handled it, and honestly considering switching companies on principle alone. The phone is less of an issue at this point.

Right. Saw that after I posted because it was first on the next page. Haha. Well, one can only hope. If I trusted anyone to get me something from Texas overnight, it would most definitely be FedEx. Never had an issue with them. Well except for this one time where I ordered something from Washington and it got to the Atlanta airport, and then got back on another flight to Indianapolis, just to come right back. Haha

You can cancel, but it won't reverse your upgrade eligibility. I'm not sure how long that can take. Some people are saying it happened in 10 minutes, but it can take up to 72 hours.

What was your order status online? This is hopeful for me if it was backordered/still is??

Since my AT&T store was and "authorized AT&T dealer" I never got emails, updates, confirmation codes, texts or anything. I did not even have a Order Status entry on the AT&T store, so I never got to participate in the "fun" of watching my status' change. It was as if I never placed an order. The last official contact I had with AT&T was on the night of 9/13 when I got my name on a list.

ordered online (from the iphone) white 32gb and black 64gb around 10AM CST on 9/14 through premier. the first four of each order are 1010 and 1019. Both still showing "in progress" backordered=1, pending shipment. Premier order shows an ordered date of 9/14. Att order status says I ordered on 9/16. Sad.

That's what I got. In Progress on the left and Pending Shipment in the right.
So fingers are crossed!

FOR ALL OF YOUR PEOPLE STILL WAITING TO GET OUT OF BACKORDER:

One of my phones (white 16gb) just went from backorder 1 to 0 then shipped with a tracking number in LITERALLY about 3 minutes. There's still hope! Now if the other one would do the same thing....(my line).....
