ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Well after all these fun times this week... I'm still on back order so I am now 12th in line at my local AT&T store.. Got here at 5am.. Downloaded a 2 1/2 hr movie so hopefully when I'm done with it I will have my new iPhone.

Does your e-mail confirmation come with two numbers ?
One is an order number && one is an order transaction number which contains both letters && numbers .
Try the transaction number ##
 
Not panicking yet, but count me among those whose iPhones were shipped early yesterday via FedEx, but have not yet arrived at my local delivery hub, thus missing the 5:30 cutoff. At least according to online tracking.

Mine is still back ordered this morning and I ordered in store. Some to my sakes guy who said that they only received the 32GB black preorders... No other colors or sizes arrived yesterday... WTF!!! Now I really do regret getting the 16GB since I was on the fence... :(
 
I don't know if I should worry or not but my phone departed Memphis at 12:41AM and then departed Memphis again at 4:02AM and that's the last tracking info I have?!! What's up with that? I live in PR :(

Was panicking, but my hubby pointed out. People send overnights every day from all over the world and 99% of the time ups/FedEx always get the packages where they need to be. I guess they know what they're doing! Mine left Philly international at 5:15 this morning en route to the Jersey Hub. Maybe they send out trucks all day long for the next day packages???????

I just drove by the jersey hubs I should have went and took your phone!

Don't forget that many times the systems aren't always updated right away. Next time it updates it could add multiple stops. Also, on high volume days it would not be unusual to have a truck leave later than usual. Here in CA I have seen my local UPS trucks leave before 6:00 or as late as almost 8:00. I order tons of packages online throughout the year, so I am used to watching tracking a lot.
 
I was one of the ones that ordered through Premier around 5am central online, and did get a tracking number with no problem. I am in the Greater New Orleans, LA area. Mine is in transit and should arrive sometime today. I post this cause i know alot of others who are from Louisiana maybe wondering also about their phone. So if you are from Louisiana and had a tracking number, you should be just like me also. And have your phone in transit.

If it makes you feel better, my wife and I both came off back-order. I ordered a 16G black her a 32G white.

We'll see!
 
Good morning everyone. Today's the day! If you weren't lucky enough (and I'm convinced it comes down to luck) I feel your pain. Hopefully you don't have to wait too much longer to get what you paid for. <3

Keep posting your status updates. The posts early on helped me deal with early confusion regarding my order. <3 this thread! :)
 
No changes here. Still shows 1 under pre-order. It could just be they have not updated their system. But, I have a very good feeling that I will not be getting it today. Order number of 1010100. Or the status website with EXTP8899 as the begging of the order number. They said I had an order date of the 15th. Still have a bit of hope but not holding my breath. Any one else have an order number like mine that got a tracking number? Premier order. Only correspondence I got was the confirmation email.

Same thing here! I think it happened last night between 10 and 11. When does everyone think we'll get them?

Mine too but i ordered 64 blk
 
I went yesterday at 10 pm to the apple store and stayed there until 6am and I am the first one in the line!!!!
