My sim card said shipped but the phone is still in progress.. Well atleast it's not backordered. But still!!! Hope and pray to get it soon

Anyone else supposed to be doing Instant Sale through eBay? I accepted offers on our two 4's over a week ago when they were still offering $200 each. I have until Oct 1st to ship but considering I'm still on back order since 9/14 I'm not sure I'll even have it by then.
I'm not that worried about keeping that offer because I am considering just doing a Buy It Now on eBay it's a little more of a pain but I know I can definitely get at least $200 ea as our phones are pristine never was w/out case.
What I'm worried about with Instant Sale (since I've never dealt w/them) is that if I do get to send by the 1st that they somehow are going to try to give a reason not to honor the $200 since its now only offering $145. I know it was supposed to be a locked in amount and even though my phone is perfect I just have a feeling they will make up something about its condition to try to pay me less. I know I can just have them send back for free if that happens but then it would have been a waste of time and I could get paid selling on eBay as soon as it sells.
Anyone thought of this happening with the phones being worth less now? Anyone actually already get money for their iPhone from them or even use them at all before?

Is it NOT weird that those of us who PRE-ORDERED our phones get it later than those who did NOT? Those who did NOT can WALK into the store and buy it while us EARLY birds get punished by having to wait WEEKS for ordering it online?

Next time I won't preorder and I'll just walk into an Apple/AT&T store one day after launch. Because it makes more sense than pre-ordering online, way more sense.

Hey how do I check if my phone is no longer backordered? This is my first time pre ordering and i have no idea how to see that..

They tell that to everyone I think. I called Saturday and they told me the same thing. Then it shipped Sunday. I don't think the CSR's are clueless. You can go to the status page and get the same info they have. All they can do is guess.

The fight/riot happened in one of their factories but not the factory where they actually work on the iPhones .
Just that particular factory was shutdown , not the company completely .
At least that's what I just heard on the news . .

Nearly 60 over here
I've been waiting nearly 60 hours as well for tracking info after going off backorder. I was expecting to wake up to a tracking number, but no such luck.

Anyone with preorder # starts with XCA231C ? I ordered black iPhone 5 32GB at local AT&T store 9/14 5:30pm. Still backordered...
I called AT&T to cancel the preorder and they said I have to cancel it at the AT&T store I preordered it from. So I went to the AT&T store and they said I have to wait for the iphone to shipped to me first, then bring it into the store in order to cancel.
Is there any other way to cancel the in store preorder?

The plant apparently makes the back cover for iphones. But I'm not sure anyone knows for sure what's happening or where, since the Chinese government has put the clamps on news coming out of there.

I bought my phone from an ATT store on the morning of the 14th. The on-line reps said I could not cancel my order, although many on here have. My store offered to save me a phone from their next shipment and then put the phone I get from the preorder into stock. Never came to that since I got a tracking number soon thereafter.
My IP5 white 16g is still in progress and my sim still "partially shipped"
Common at&t give me tracking # I'm with XS5 group Anyone know when i can receive my phone? My order was never a backordered btw

Pre-ordered in-store on 9/14 at 9AM CST, backorder switched from 1 to 0 this past Friday (9/21) in the afternoon... Still no tracking as of this morning.
Annoyance against AT&T--which had momentarily stopped after the backorder update--has resumed.

Just trying to follow where the preorders are at. Order numbers don't mean much since there are several ways you could have ordered, for example I ordered internally since my husband is an ATT employee.
I've seen 16 black preordered 10pm come off backorder. Does anyone have a later date than this that has come off backorder.
For those waiting to get tracking info, you gotta use some common sense, it was the weekend. I'm sure the system will be updated today at some point, UPS & Fedex don't always have updated info in their system.... Chances are if you're off backorder you're getting your order the 25th or 27th since that's the trend I've read...
Those from 14th not off backorder, I'd call cause it could mean there was some processessing delays, I've seen some peoples order only being placed an hour to a day later when there has been delays... so chances are you are in a later batch.
If I'm right, I think we may see some 15th orders getting off backorder today....
