ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

What happens if you do not have any of those? Well, my wife through her side of the family has her iPhone 3gs. At first she was going to get an iPhone 4 as her upgrade and I was going to inherit the 3gs. Then after some talking I was able to get her permission to get an iPhone 5. Cost me though not getting Resident evil 6. I do get the chance to get Halo 4 though. :)

Just called AT&T and talked to them nicely and they told me my phone maybe shipped out from October 5-14th. They say 14-21 business days just to cover there butts. There is a chance I can get my phone sooner than October 5th which in all do respect I stand a better chance having a discussion with a wall.

i ordered 3 more at the same time and got all three black/slate 16gb, not unrealistic at all
 
I preordered a black 16gb on 9-19. I went to an AT&T store on Saturday , 9-22,and they had some in stock . They let me cancel my pre order and I picked up one in the store. My manufacturing week is September week 38

*groan* Released from back order Hell around 6PM 9/22/14. Time is now 10:18PM CDT and still no tracking information. Honestly, what gives? I know I'm obsessing but how can you not? Completely frustrating. Heads need to roll.

That is so strange. That's what mine is too but ordered on 9/14. It must mean something. DId you order by phone?

#9041, phone order 9/14, 1 white 16gb 1 32 gb, $250 upgrade fee waiver on 1
 
I am on perpetual back order.......EXTP8899.

I am not even that angry that I do not have the phone. I mean in all fairness none of us need it that bad and they damn near sold eleventy billion of the things. However I think the way ATT has handled the process and treated most of us as customers is pretty unacceptable. Customer service should not get thrown out simply because ATT did a poor job of preparing for this. All in all it was not a surprise that Apple was releasing a new phone. They should have been preparing for a long time now.
 
Got my shipping info a couple hours ago after getting out of backorder yesterday :) Question to anyone who has received their AT&T phones. Did you need to sign off on the order when FEDEx showed up? The rep at AT&T told me there wouldn't need to be a signing but I'm just making sure.

I preordered in the early hours of the 17th, my order number starts with a #1407 for a black 16g.
So I'm still using my 32g 4...hoping the 5 comes in time for me to get the $183 gazelle quoted for me on the 17th...

I did order over the phone. 1 black 64 gb, my order was an upgrade override (which is basically the same as your fee waiver)

I know a few have gotten off back order, but has anyone with 9041 gotten a tracking # yet?
 
I pre-ordered my white 16 G on 9/14 around 7 AM. It didn't finish processing until 9/16 so my order was pushed later. It's been in backorder of doom since then and I am a part of the EXTP8899 Club.

AT&T insists that it won't be shipping out until October 4th-15th. Hell....no, I am not waiting that long.

My number is #1255, does anyone else have this? And if so, is that relevant to the timing of my iphone's shipping?

Yes. I was 9041 and got a tracking number this AM. Odd thing is the order was supposed to be canceled because I picked up the phone in the store Friday.
 
order 9031 # still on back order for a 32gb black/slate if i dont get any info by tomarrow im calling a bazillion times to cancel..
