My 3:40am EST 9/14 order still not shipped but I follow what I read in this forum (thanks! :D) and at least I got $70 dollars off my bill of upgrade fees and transfer fees. Not happy with ATT at all but that helps! I recommend everybody to call and ask for at least a refund of the upgrade fees. It was really fast, 5-10 min max!
 
This has been a cluster of epic proportions as usual with ATT.

Make no mistake, I ordered my 2 phones at 7 PM Eastern on 9/14.

If you ordered yours before that and they haven't shipped I would raise holy heck.

Oh and the ATT Rep offer a solution to my problem: CAncel the preorder and wait 24h to get the upgrade back and chase the Iphone on retail stores. SERIOUSLY?

through my account, my status is "processing" - through the order_status link, my status is "pending shipment" and backordered

and to rub salt in my wounds.. friend of mine who ordered at the same time as me but through apple directly should have her phone tomorrow. it started shipping (with tracking info) on saturday.

I ordered through their Premier site since I get a discount through my company, so I used the https://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/ link to check my order status.
 
It's about time I saw those magic EXTP88998's start to get some love! I got 889985, but still. Hopefully that means they'll get to me soon! My order date says the 17th though and I'm still on back order. black 64gb;)

EXTP8899812XXX for me. Still backordered...Liking the good news.

Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they ship now, or what the order number is. I ordered @ 11:30AM on 9/14, CST. Not on back order, but I haven't received any shipping info. Am I ticked off? Did Moses part the Red Sea?

OH, and I forgot to add that my post above was not meant in ANY way to disrespect, annoy or rub it in anyone's face.

I am only trying to help folks realize that order # means nothing, and evidently neither does the time you ordered it from.

Not sure if the web site you use to order it does, but I just did it as a normal joe at the AT&T site via the upgrade phone option.

I subsequently went on the order status link you provided. When I type in my wireless number, it tells my order status is "in progress." So I'm going to assume that since it doesn't say "back order" it's a good thing.

I'm completely convinced that ATT CSRs have no idea what is happening beyond their screens. I'd only call to get fees waived and such. Something they are capable of handling...:mad::mad:

-ordered at 5:45am EST on 9/14

-regular ATT non premier
-order group 1504xxx....
-received confirmation text later in the day on 9/14
-FL delivery

still on qty back ordered 1 pending shipment
I was able to get a $36 credit for the upgrade fee after screaming at ATT on Friday release day about how i recieve a different update everytime i call and how disorganized this preorder has been.

still no shipping confirmation or anything
girlfriend ordered through verizon monday 9/17 and received her phone on release day 9/21

called around a few stores to check if they are in stock. apple store said to order on their site at 10pm in the evening and do the pickup in store option. the business rep said they are receiving phones everyday and you can pickup that next day. no luck for me though because ATTs wonderful preorder process has taken the upgrade slot so im not showing available for upgrade.

reloading the order status page at least 25x a day
getting tired of this ****

the "ordeal" is over, on truck out for delivery. now, here's to hoping there won't be any scuffs, rattling, or light leakage issues. :)

So, same order group as mine, same phone as the one I ordered, except you ordered 1.5 hours after I did (and accepted the TOS at the time I ordered). Yet yours is on its way, or maybe even in your hands, while mine remains in back order hell. Oh how I love AT&T . . .

The AT&T store near work had the phone in stock today. Same color, same size, same network. I left work and flew over there, all while on the phone w/ AT&T trying to cancel. No cancel. Manager won't cancel. Retentions tell me I can't cancel. Love, love, love AT&T.
 
Ordered mine at 3:09am on Sept. 14th through the AT&T Site.

Arrived at my door at 12:04pm on the 21st. No problems or complaints.
