No shipment

Ordered 1am pst 9/14. Got off of back order early 9/22 Sat. Still no tracking or shipment. ordered 16gb black
 
I've called att a few times regarding the back order, complained and threatened to jump ship and go to Verizon....$0 is what I've been offered

What are some key words/points you all who have been given compensation have used? I want my free $ too!
 
I ordered at the store (after returning my second HTC ONE X) Sept 14th around 4pm and got an order number starting with X2RML. I received my order email on the 15th, but it has shown "processing" since the 15th. No charge on my CC. I never saw it showing backordered, so I'm wondering why no updates yet on mine.

I was/am in the same situation, there are two "Order Status" pages that AT&T has, and you're probably looking at the one that's pretty much useless. You want to go to https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status, where it'll tell you if your item is backordered or not, and tracking info once it comes in.

I can't really be mad about not having my phone or it not being shipped, when I ordered it at 6pm EST on the 14th, they did say it was 14-21 days estimated shipping, so I'm still before that. Once it hits this Friday though, I'll be expecting more progress! Order # starts with XW14713, 32gb blk, back order 1 if it matters to anyone~
Although now I'm thinking of trying to just cancel the whole thing and trying my luck with the pick up system through Apple.

I just straight up asked for it basically. I said I preordered early and it didn't arrive on release day and I heard they were waiving the upgrade fees, and he said sure, put me on hold 2 minutes came back said he didn't even see the $36 charges pending on the account but said if they do hit they would be waived and gave me his full name and id #. He also credited my account $54.

I was actually complaining about the fact that the store employee told me my text plan (200 on my line/1000 on my wife's) would only go up $5 if I went unlimited but it turned out to be $15 per month when they offered to take off my $36 upgrade fee and they knocked another $15 off as well. That is besides the fact that the store manager is looking into how he can get my texting plan back to the older "grandfathered" plans I had. That is another nice caveat to keep in mind for everyone. Once they convince you to go to the unlimited plan they claim they can't change it back because that plan no longer exists.

I simply said that I did my part, got up early on the 14th, ordered online, and got the confirmation a few minutes later at 6:35 am. They send emails after close of business on a Saturday. Stop taking calls on Sunday. So I called at 8am on Monday to "fix my unlimited grandfathered plan". I don't like being penalized for something that isn't my fault, and I would like some type of monetary compensation for having to deal with a mishap on AT&T's part. I was frustrated with the manager so I only got $25 credited. (don't be a dick like I was) I called again and spoke to another rep and asked if any fees were associated with the upgrade and she cleared the $36 for me. Not much, but it's something. I should have called back for more, but karma works and I don't wanna be on the bad side of it. Hope it helps.
 
I wish I had that option...I'd have to drive 3 hours to and 3 hours from New Orleans, as they have the closest apple store to me. Damn you apple for only having one store on the gulf coast, but most importantly DAMN YOU AT&T!!!

Damn, I only have to walk a few blocks to get to a massive apple store. Good thing I'm in Chicago I guess.

BREAKING NEWS. Ordered 9/14 at 9:45 PM. Literally just got off backorder. Finally the first update I've gotten since the 14th.

Tell them you KNOW other people are being credited. Then just keep asking to speak to their manager. I told them it was absurd that the Apple store down the street has shelves full of my phone, yet I'm stuck on back order.
 
Ok so I just got off the phone with AT&T and they waived the $36 upgrade fee and took off $100 of my bill! It can be done, don't let them tell you otherwise. Because of this, I actually feel a lot better about my order, I might just stop complaining and wait patiently for my phone. I still hope it comes this week though.

Just called Premier customer support. Talked to a very nice lady named Vickie. She did not give me the spiel...it will ship between october 04 and october 15. She said, shipment could happen anytime from now to october 15.While this maybe wishful thinking, she asked me if I had a tracking number. I said not yet. Her response was one of surprise. It just seemed like she was shocked I had not received a tracking number. Again, it may be wishful thinking.

I ordered through Premier on 09/14 but order processed on 09/16 at around 7:40 AM.

Same here...ordered 9/14 but it didn't process until 9/16 with the same estimated ship date. I'm just hoping it'll ship earlier then the CSR stated. Cheers to hope lol

Also, update to my last post. For what it's worth I'm a 1612 order. Ordered at 9:45 PM CST on the 14th. Off backorder as off about 1:50

order : 9/14, 01:19 PM CDT. 16GB BLK, order# 1612....
back order 0 : 9/22, 5pm-11pm.
tracking # show : 9/25, 11 am - 3pm.

finally i'll get it tomorrow at 3pm. :D:D
