I suspect the latest script calls for denying any further perks to customers. I really don't feel they care at all at this point. They seem to be saying we've done all we can do, or are going to do.

I received mine today via FedEx. And, to my surprise, the delivery guy DID require a signature!
Lol yeah if you're standing there, they will get a signature... Duh,
On a side note... If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to witness it... Does it make a sound?
Some had commented previously that they didn't have to sign for the packages when handed to them...thus my comment.
Exact same scenario here! Same order group! Ordered at the same time also! No communication, just a "will arrive on 9/21" credit card charged, charge disappeared, and been stuck in pending ever since without an update. I had to call them to get a "by October 4th" I hate AT&T. I can't think of anything they do well anymore!!!!
Hey, guys. I recently been keeping up with the threat and after the hell I been through with AT&T preorder. I had canceled it and just wanted to keep you guys updated. So I got my iPhone 5 a few days later using the pickup option and picked it up today from 5th Avenue 
store. I took me 30 minutes to pickup, activate and setup process and before I knew it I was out and about again. 
I'm loving my 5 but I wanted to come back on the thread to see if anybody is still in backorder waiting it out

Family plan with 4 lines, upgrading all 4 phones on 4 separate orders. A black 16gb arrived 9/21. The other 3 went off backorder last night, and another black 16gb shipped today to arrive tomorrow by 3pm.
Still no word on the white 16gb and the white 32gb. Still pissed as hell that people who ordered days later are getting their phones.

My previous post was made minutes after getting off of the phone w/an AT&T csr....so I apologize if the post was misconstrued as anything other than anger only with AT&T.
Again, nothing against 'ogwald74' or anyone who ordered their phone after I did and have received it/shipping info, my problem is with AT&T!

This wouldn't be a problem if you could cancel and walk into a store and buy one they have available.
The fact that they don't let you cancel is a problem.

Clearly there is no rhyme or reason to how they ship them. Just assume you're getting screwed! I bet there will be phones collecting dust on shelves before AT&T gets their s.hit together and realizes they screwed me over.
no worries. I feel you. Just know, it'll be greater later. (maybe not greater, but once you get it, all this anxiety will be a faint memory

Only verbally and I had to call and ask ... Preordered 9/14 6am cst still waiting. Someone I know was in the same situation and got his yesterday although he ordered 5 hours after me and in the store. Said his was stuck in processing and when he got home it was waiting for him. I'm not so lucky.
Yep i ordered a 16gb on the 15 and they said i would be getting it no later then 10/4 but im hoping sooner then that.

Will be delivered tomorrow via FedEx.
