ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

same as you. I ordered on 9/14 at store at about 1:15pm eastern. Been off backorder for over a week for a white 16gb. At this point I believe the white 16gb is what is causing the delay as ppl who ordered after us but ordered 32 or 64 have already received there's.
I've been following this thread for a few days now and I think evidence points to the black 16 gb model being the one most are waiting on. You also see higher gb models moving quicker.
You and me both. Came off BO on Saturday and been refreshing since. Sigh.
I ordered 12:50 CDT or 1:50 EDT in store for a 16GB white so we appear to be stuck in the same level of limbo.

I don't think the pattern is quite as clear. I've been on backorder since 6:16 AM on the 14th for 1x32 GB blk and 1X32 GB wht. Just off backorder last night.

Considering some 9/16 and 9/17 preorders have been going ahead of those who ordered on 9/14 and 9/15 I don't see how you can tell everyone what to do.
Actually, anyone who ordered a phone w/no movement can complain if people who ordered after them are getting phone movement...it's just the people who ordered on the 14th have more of a reason to complain....
Everyone is pissed at AT&T, and we should keep our frustrations focused on them, and not on each other.
When I read about the few people who ordered after me and have movement, I'm happy for the user, and I'm pissed at AT&T.
I've gotta stop checking the status 2-4x an hour.....

You have to consider there are 6 different models of phones. If you follow the posts you would see 64's had a crap load of orders off BO yesterday 32's today... I see a scatter of 16's....
White is sold less than black aswell.
Also some of these ppl on BO so long.... they ordered but their order wasn't processed until days later. You really need to go by the date on the status page, not the date you placed the order. Premiere people seem to have delays in their orders.

Well the best of luck. I'm not the jaded type though so I hope you get a surprise iphone package at the front door today.
I came off back order close to midnight last night. I have been waiting patiently. I expected a delay and haven't even bothered to call AT&T. I'm pretty confident from past experiences that it would be a waste of time.
As far as the dude who thinks I'm complaining because I ordered on the 17th that's far from the truth. The truth, however, is that many ordered on days past the 14th too and they're entitled to share in the information from others who ordered near the same time too. There's no ill will on my behalf toward anyone and hope this preorder fiasco gains momentum on shipping the phones out so everyone is happy.
Ok, well, I guess you guys can complain about whatever you want then. My phone was delivered 10 minutes ago, so I am checking out of this thread as of right now. Good luck to all.

I just don't think "stop complaining" is valid on the almost 400th page of a thread dedicated entirely to people complaining.
I pre-ordered on 9-14 and still have a 1 in backordered. Has anyone in Louisiana got their pre-order yet?

That order number is the receipt number at the bottom of the receipt you got from the store. I think the order number for is the number you get in your email that you are suppose to enter when you call

She received the white two days ago, but my black is still back ordered.
People were bitching earlier about other people receiving account credits, but I say, if you're unhappy with the way you are being served then ask them to hook it up. I asked for a $100 credit to my account and they didn't even hesitate to give it to me. I've been a customer for over 15 years, but I don't think that had anything to do with it
