ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

FYI to all (not trying to rub salt in wounds, I feel bad and would be upset if I ordered early AM 9/14) - my phones have shipped!

EXTP889983 - ordered 9/15 830am by phone - Premier - 32GB white and 16GB black - came off back order around 9pm 9/25.

Don't hate me!
 
I just called premier. The CSR said, it looks like your phone has been "activated", is in the warehouse, and should ship soon. I wonder what that means. Does that mean I should receive a tracking number? I asked him what he meant by soon. He just said it is in the warehouse and should be shipped soon without a date. Weird.

Awesome. EXTP88998 stil on back order. This is so irritating. Waiting another week now great.
 
Hot Damn!

Got a FedEx tracking number for my 32 GB blk phone...should be here tomorrow!

Still waiting on the white tracking #.

Both ordered online non-premier at 6:16 AM CDT on the 14th, backordered til last night.
 
Off back order

I'm off back order but still waiting. I believe that the warehouse just got a shipment to fill my order but they have at least one full container full of pallets that they have to go through and repackage. Could take days. Can you imagine how many iPhones fit in a shipping container. Plus if it's at the AT&T warehouse they have not only our iPhones to ship plus all there other orders. All this thinking about when I am going to get my iPhone is starting to make me not even care anymore.
 
ordered on 9/14, but says 16th...any one else get progress?

Has anyone who ordered on the 14th -but order status says 16th - see any updates yet? Still refreshing the status page like every 10 mins or so like an idiot...🙄

Yes. Came off of backorder yesterday; tracking info today; scheduled delivery tomorrow. My order was exactly the same: ordered 9/14 but status says 9/16.

EDIT: I just refreshed my FedEx tracking - my phone has been picked up in Ft.Worth, TX!!! It's really really on it's way!!! I'm so excited - finally...
 
I guess while I'm waiting I will go shopping online to buy accessories then I can sit and wait for those too. #

The people who ordered before around noon eastern on 9/14 were "guaranteed" delivery on 9/14, and in any event, promised that orders would be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A whole bunch of people who ordered before that deadline are still on backorder, while there are people who ordered after 9/14 reporting that they've already received their orders.

If you ordered after 9/14, you did so knowing that there would be a wait.

I ordered via Premier on the 18th (ATT 64G black). Had been on backorder from the start, but just yesterday the backorder column switched from 1 to 0. What does that mean?

What time did yours come off backorder yesterday? Did you get an email today of the tracking information? I came off backorder last night and just trying to get an idea what's next.
 
Well it's Thursday. Still on back order, which means your not getting a phone for the next 4 days pretty much. Unless u magically come off back order and get shipping info today, there's an outside chance for an overnight for Friday delivery. Myself I expect to be waiting another 10 days. I just wanna punch a hole in the wall. Lol.

What I find interesting is the original pre-debit on my credit card dropped off a couple of days ago and hasn't been replaced. While I have no doubt AT&T will recharge my credit card eventually, you'd think they wouldn't ship without running the credit card again.

It came off backorder sometime in the middle of the night. At 5:00 AM I received a CSS email from ATT so I'm guessing it was maybe around that time. This morning I got the tracking email; it was sent at 2:42 AM. These are all PST times.

Mine, too. I ordered via Premier on the 14th (9:00am PDT) and my order date showed the 16th for a white 16GB. I got an email of the CSS last night and the back order went to 0. 🙂

Well, at least I know not to completely give up hope yet! I ordered the dreaded 32gb Black so maybe that's why I'm still on BO....I did notice that quite a few people came off of backorder earlier today though with those...so maybe soon I will too..
