Congrats. 889982 here 16gb blac still back order. I'm so pissed off at this. I know it's a phone just ruining my mood today. I feel like a kid who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas.

I am with you. If nothing happens today it will be 9 days after the confirmed order. (only counting Monday-Friday).
 
Jeezus, after waiting 14 days for shipping notification they have decided to ship UPS 2nd day air.

So that means Tuesday rather than Monday for a package from Memphis to Minneapolis...I could *walk* there that fast.

iPhone 5 32GB black -- order EXTP889982 on 9/14 3:47 PM EDT - processed on 9/15. Still on backorder at 11:13 AM EDT 9/28.

The iPhone 5 16GB black I ordered on 9/14 2:03PM EDT also processed on 9/15 (EXTP889981). Arrived Thursday 9/27 via FedEx overnight.

Next time I'm ordering through Apple or waiting in line at the store -- never again!

Woo hoo! Backorder went from 1 to 0 as of 12:51 EDT 9/28 -- hopefully I get a tracking number soon!

If yours ships via UPS or FedEx, you can call them and pay an extra $10-$15 for Saturday delivery. It's what i plan on doing if i ever get my tracking number today!! I've waited long enough. It just kills me to have the case sittin on my dresser every day with nothing in it.

That needs to be done before your phone ships.

But, since they shipped it 2nd day Air, it is scheduled for Tuesday so I would have to pay to upgrade to Overnight and then pay again for Saturday.

And, as noted, once it's in the UPS system it is too late.

FedEx delivered mine about noon Chicago time. Ordered a 64GB black. Ordered online through the premier site on the 14th at about 4PM CST but it didn't process fully until the 19th due to an error processing my CC. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon.

Anyone else have their status show as N/A? Or know what that means?

Just came off backorder 9041 order #. 32gb black. Waiting on shipping info now. Ordered 9/14 @ 10:45

Did your order start with EXTP8899 ? Are those 4 digits the last 4. Im drawing at straws here just trying to find a pattern if one exists.
 
So, after my AT&T Premier pre-order that I placed on 9/14 at 8am getting cancelled, I was able to get one at my local AT&T store on launch day (thanks Justin!). I even got a cancellation e-mail for my original order where I was adding a line to my family plan instead of paying the upgrade fee (since I wasn't eligible).

SO...what happens today? Without any e-mail notification or anything, FedEx delivered to my house a black 64gb iPhone 5 with a new phone number on it. WTF??? Is AT&T that goofed up? I suppose I'll have to take it to my local AT&T store to get this straightened out since the online ordering system is a mess!
 
After being on backorder through yesterday, including yesterday afternoon when I last checked, I get an email today at 9:14am that my equipment shipped but with no tracking number listed:

Thank you for your recent order, we value and appreciate your business! You should receive your equipment in a few days.

The tracking number for your shipment is: (left empty)

Went online to check order status and it's out for delivery. So disorganized.
 
I called AT&T premier line today, what a waste of time.

The CSR said the "in progress" means it was going to be shipped in a day or two, was in the warehouse. When I explained it was like that since the 14th he recanted and said it means it will "ship eventually".

Talked to a manager, they could not do anything. Same old AT&T line of 7-14 business days and "no guarantee on the ship date".

They of course could not explain why my date is the 18th yet I ordered on the 14th. No T&C for a business site, you agree when you place the order. These are for new lines, they have numbers assigned already just no phone.

Should be interesting to see if they are on my Sept bill, it should have closed today.....

And the wait continues.
