ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I am a day ahead of you, ordered 6:30am on the 14th, premier processed it on the 18th.

With the way AT&T processes you will probably get yours before I do....
 
I ordered a black 16GB iPhone 5.

It is scheduled for delivery tomorrow before 3pm

I want a white one...

Does anyone know the best and most effective way to swap the phone out for the right color?

Apple won't let me place a personal pickup because apparently my account cannot be upgrade eligible.

Some data points:
- ordered in an ATT store on 9/15
- shipped 9/28
- will deliver tomorrow 10/1
 
Anyone who has received their order from Fed Ex, will they leave it at your door without you being home? I have pre signed before when I ordered from Apple, but do not see that option now with my AT&T order.
 
I ordered two 16 gb blk on 17 and 18th evening. One ordered on 17th came off backorder but hasn't shipped yet. One on 18th is still on backorder. I suspect by end of this week.
 
I thought it would never happen, but I'm finally off backorder!!! Must've happened in the last 2 or 3 hours. 32 GB black ordered on 9/14 but processed on 9/17. Order # EXTP889982.
 
Been off backorder for about 32 hours now no shipping info! Saw people getting shipping info over the weekend dunno why I haven't still waiting!

Not the only one. I ordered my iPhone on the 14th but did not get confirmation after a few phone calls on the 17th 2pm. Since there, I have been on back order and says Processing then other area pending shipment.

I ordered a 32gb black iPhone.
 
I ordered on the 15th,went through on the 16th,and I cancelled on the 17th and it was DELIVERED on the 24th! I cancelled because RS said my order would arrive on the 21st,which was a minor miracle.On the 29th,I received 3 e-mails from Premier at 1116pm stating my order was cancelled,my order has shipped and my order is cancelled!
They are so incompetent,it boggles the mind.

I actually did try going to my local AT&T and Best Buy and both were of course sold out. The closest Apple store is about an hour away...but they sold out of their shipment this week before they even got the shipment. At this point I feel like It's useless. I have avoided calling AT&T but if I see nothing by tonight I definitely will be.

Well I do not know if the Warehouse near NY is still sold out or not. Who knows where my future iPhone will be shipping. I thought they were not fulfilling orders during the weekend but we are having people get their orders fulfilled unless AT&T's system is really slow to update the order. Who knows...If you are only counting Monday-Friday. October 1st would be day 10 since the 17th confirmation. If you are not then October 1st is day 14.

I really want to get my black iPhone 5 32gb soon. I think I am driving my wife a bit nuts, she is telling me go and play video games. lol. I wonder if I call AT&T and can ask them would it be faster if they ship me a white 32? I doubt that though. Alas I am very, very far away from an Apple store or AT&T store.

I would like to know this as well. I tried to cancel my order for a 32gb Black because I want the White after all the scratching issues and they shipped my order out that night instead of cancelling it. Anyone think they might be doing this on purpose? Seems fishy.
 
How do you know if your order was processed? My status is still processing. I ordered on 9/28.
