What's the oldest one, any 9/14 BO's around?

I ordered a 16GB, Black on 9/19 and am BO as of 5 minutes ago.
 
I am 9/16 16GB WHT still on BO. Called, chatted, emailed - all say the same thing- "You are on BO. We dont know whats going on. We cant do anything about it".

what a great response on AT&T's part ... sorry you're going through that.
 
Got the shipping info for my 32GB black. Although UPS still hasn't started the shipping process, it says 2nd day air so I should be getting it by wednesday. This process is finally at an end!
 
Ordered 16GB Black on the 14th. Didn't process till 17th. Came off back order Saturday about 5pm eastern, however I have not received any shipping information yet. I have switched from hourly checks to look at my back order status. To hourly checks looking for shipping information. But I'm just happy for some progress at this point.
 
I'm a 9/14 black 32GB still on BO, gonna call today and ask what in the world is going on.

I got the same BS answers that I've been getting from AT&T for the past week, they can't explain why orders placed days after mine are being fulfilled and yet mine is still in BO hell, in fact the CSR actually got mad at me for asking politely if there is somebody there that works closer with the warehouse that could explain what is going on with their order system. Ordered 9/17 4PM in store and still on backorder. This is agony

Dont feel bad I ordered 9/14 for a 16gb Black and system messed up and put my order in as of 9/20. So I am behind you. ETA for me is 10/10 - 10/19. I really hope they ship earlier as I have seen them to for others since I have been following this thread.

Ordered 9/14 am. Still on back order, but this is probably because ATT didn't process my order until 9/19.
 
Lol! Whats even weirder is that us 16th'ers are still on BO, and all the cust reps say is "I apologize, unfortunately, I am sorry, but your order is still on BO, I regret this immensely, and I dont have any other information, I really apologize, I am sorry, I know its inconvenient, I am really sorry...but I dont know why, but I dont have any other info...I am sorry, anything else I can (pretend to) help you with..?"

Me, Danielle63 and Daddynexxus are still waiting for a ray of hope.

Don't forget little old me. My order was processed and confirmed on 17th at 2pm. It was for a 32gb black iPhone 5.
 
My phone is shipping out UPS 2 Day Air. What is bizarre is that it is originating in Memphis, a FedEx hub. The UPS Air hub is in Louisville.

It's almost like AT&T has a facility in Memphis to move product to FedEx but FedEx was too full to accept any more so they switched to UPS.

Given how most of the AT&T shipments have come FedEx it is just really odd to have a package originate in Memphis and go UPS.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am in the same boat.
 
Still nothing on a 16 black ordered 9/20. At this point ill see it by christmas.. hopefully i get shipped out before wenseday
 
9/17 Order

I ordered the 32GB Black on 9/17 at 1:35pm ET.
Received the "Your order has been processed" e-mail on 9/17 at 6:02pm
Still in BO... :(
 
I Ordered on 9/16 but I canceled my order and ended up getting it at the ATT store on launch day. The charge was taken off my card and my online upgrade was reversed. However, just for the shiggles, I checked the order status ad it shows shipped with tracking number and will be delivered tomorrow?! WTF?! Also look at my credit card and it hasn't been charged! :eek:
 
Mine has switched to Shipped and gave me a tracking number for FedEx to be delivered tomorrow. Left Memphis at 9:17am this morning.

Went off backorder yesterday.


What in the flying ****. I went off backorder Saturday and I still have no tracking info. Geeze you think your getting somewhere good coming off backorder and then AT&T finds more ways to screw your order up.
