This thread makes me feel worse. Seeing all the people before me still on back order and waiting shipment means mine probably won't come this week. Ordered 9/18 5 pm
 
I'm beginning to think AT&T dropped my box in a hole. Been off backorder 2 days with no shipping info. Everyone else who comes off backorder gets their shipping info within 24 hours. Everyone who came off backorder this weekend got their shipping info. Just cause you make it off backorder doesn't mean anything now. This is purely stupid.
 
Just FYI during all this craziness and hectic activity my baby was born on the 28th. No iPhone but at least I got mah baby :)..







I want my damn iPhone...

I'm sorry for you doasis... I guess there is nothing for us to do other than give each other support... You should feel at least a little bit better since at least some orders placed on the 16th and the 17th are being delivered...:cool:

I'm now more or less just really pissed off. Going of backorder Saturday you'd think I'd have tracking info and the phone be shipped by noel especially that it's Monday. Its just been one of them days where you expect good news all day and it's been thr complete opposite of what should have happened today. Terrible Monday.

Why not? It seems that AT&T is finally rolling out the phones slowly so I don't think I'd be waiting the 2 weeks that people who preordered have waited. Especially when AT&T seems to have not be honoring first come first serve... Honestly, anything can happen but I'm not expecting to get here on time.

It's too bad these CAPTCHA's aren't actual words, I bet we'd have some pretty funny ones by now. Last time I refreshed I had FU as the last two letters, couldn't've been more appropriate.
 
I have a hunch that AT&T warehouses didn't receive any shipments on Sunday, just like the Apple stores. I bet we won't start seeing any movement again until later tonight or tomorrow when their shipment arrives at the warehouses from Apple.
 
Thought I'd finally chime in. I order on 9/17 around 12 noon at a ATT store. Im still on backorder. I ordered a black 16GB. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning I see a change in status.

Wow. At least you know you should be gettin it in a couple days max. I have no idea when my phone is comin off backorder
 
I guess I should have made my own thread, but most of you probably wouldn't have listened. When asked on whether or not pre-orders from AT&T were a good idea, I said NO. And people responded back telling me I was wrong.

They blew it last year and they blew it this year. That's why I ordered directly though Apple and it came at 9:45AM on Launch Day.

Sorry, I tried to warn you. :(

Hopefully by the time yours arrive, all issues with scuffing (don't have black, so I don't really know how widespread it is) will be worked out.
 
hang in there everyone! I know it sucks, but we'll all get our phones eventually :apple:

Hope you're right.... yes, it's unfortunate that there are still some 9/14-16 orders that haven't shipped yet and others are going out first. I'd like to see them get out, cause that only means we're next in line! (you'd think)...

I would call and check on it, you never know... I've even heard of some people calling about their order and it magically comes off of BO soon after... don't know if the CSR pushed it through or if just a coincidence...

I called to complain a bit and it was shipped the next day. They told me the night before that it wouldn't ship till oct 4th-14th.
