Thanks guys, I just thought Pending Shipment already was a little too good to be true! I have noticed the 32s and 64s are easier to get - they even had 64s at the store when I ordered. Just couldn't see paying an extra $100 for GB I'll never use. STILL using an 8GB 3GS (justifies my over the top excitement for a new phone lol!)

I almost had a mini heart attack yesterday because I was at Walmart with a friend running some errands and we went by the cell phone section and were messing with a dummy GS3. She was joking to me that "what if they had iPhone 5's and you could have totally gotten yours right now without waiting." And I'm like "No way, that'd be a slap in the face! It's Walmart, how can they have any?"
Anyways, a sales associate came up to us if we needed any help, and we said we were fine. The associate then said "You know, we have some iPhone 5's in stock if you're interested" and my heart literally fell. I was like "What color? Storage? Provider?" And it wasn't until she said they only had 16GB black for AT&T that I was so relieved
If they had 32GB, I would've flipped so many clothes racks!
Anyways, still hoping for a miracle here like the rest of you guys for my order

I'm starting to lose hope that my 9/30 ordered Black 16gb will ship anytime soon, lol. I guess the change from processing to pending shipping doesn't mean much if it's still on backorder.

Seems like they're really getting into the orders from the early 20's now and moving out of the late teens (even though I know plenty of those are still waiting!)
I'm on an AT&T business account. I don't know if it's a premiere account. Didn't even know that existed, I'm not the account holder. And the account holder is kind of...technology impaired, so they don't even really know. But based on everything I've been through trying to get this phone, I learned the hard way that the ONLY place to get a phone for a business account is through AT&T, whether it be in store, over phone, or online. You cannot get it at Apple or any other retailer (Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.)
AT&T for whatever reason does not allow anyone but themselves to sell phones for business accounts. So after many failures of plans to get the phone through other sources, I finally decided it would be better to at least have a phone ordered for me, so I ordered one in an AT&T store on 9/30.

Do you have proof or is this just from experience? I was thinking of just doing a reservation at a semi-local Apple store, but I have a premier/business account too. So if that wouldn't work... then that'd suck lol

And experience. Talked to multiple Apple reps online, over phone, and in person. They only do Verizon business accounts.
Not for 16s that I've seen. 64s and 32s seem to be shipping quickly now though. I wish they would shift production to 16s.
Let's keep each other posted. I'm 16gb white ordered on 20th, processed 21st. We should be around the same time! At least, when mine comes off BO technically yours should follow soon after. Let's put them to the test with this first come first serve.

I've been lurking but I'll start updating once I see something. I didn't want to start whining about having to wait with all of the 14th-19th'ers ahead of me.
Ordered and processed white 16GB 9/22 over the phone. Would have ordered sooner but I wasn't eligible. Threatened to jump to Verizon and they allowed for the full discount.
As far as I know, it says "pending shipment" from the time the order is processed until the time you get your tracking info. So it doesn't really mean anything. It isn't until BO says 0 that it means that it will ship soon.

I think we're free to start whining now... LOL There may be a few 14th-19th stragglers but looks like a lot of their orders have been fulfilled in the last few days.
You can whin, but not as many people as you think are of BO. I ordered the 18th processed the 20th still BO. I ordered the 16gb white. This is just one process that I will never do again.
I'm hoping it shows up tomorrow! UPS has it as 2nd Day Air. So people are getting them next day even though it says 2nd day?
Not true...mine said "processing" under order status since day 1, but "pending shipment" just showed up under tracking number today.
