Ordered 2 phones in store on 9/18 (16g white and 16g black)
The 16g white is still on back order
and the 16g black will be here tomorrow via UPS
anyone else order a 16g white on the 18th or later off back order?!
My 16gb white order processed on the 22nd. Still on BO 1.
If the 16gb white is really having the biggest shortage, at least when they get a good shipment of them im hoping that most of us will be BO 0 and cleared for shipment.
I really hope so. I've been wanting a white one since the 4 came out and they halted production of them at first...

I have been on backorder for my 16gb white I order on the 14th (but says the 17th) since Saturday... & today is Thursday & I still have no shipping information.

Assuming you're on a personal and not a business account, your best bet is to use the Apple reservation system. Between 10 pm and 4 am every night (your best bet being as close to 10 as possible) add an iPhone to your cart on Apple's online store and select store pickup, and see if any of your local stores have stock. If they do, you can pick it up the next day.
At least you have gotten a 0 which I guess means that there is a phone out there somewhere for you! Keep me posted!!
Yay. So, I'm not the only one left on BO 0 for the White 16GB !!! Went off BO 9.29.
Ordered 9.14/processed 9.17 on business account. So I'm stuck waiting. My wife has had hers since 9.24, Preordered on same date as mine...the Same model

How do you know exactly when it was taken off BO? Does it say the time somewhere or were you constantly refreshing in the middle of the night? (I won't judge you

My white 32 went off BO around 10 this morning (EST), and I ordered in store on the 1st. I think we'll see some action soon

White 16GB ordered through ATT Premier at 7:30am on 9/14, processed 9/19. Still BO.
Wife's 16GB Black ordered 9/14 at 1pm was delivered 9/27.
I also ordered a 16g white on 9/18 in the morning and I am still on BO too!
Yeah, got my hopes up as well over here. Ordered on the 28th. Hopefully the Ottterbox that I ordered along with it doesn't hold back the shipment of the phone...You got me so excited to check! But it's still on backorder
Final update:
9/18 ordered a black 32gb in store
10/2 about 5:30pm EST went off back order
10/3 about 6:30pm qty shipped changed from 0 to 1, but order still showed in progress, and no tracking or carrier info
10/3 7:50pm received an email with shipping info, confirmed with order status site. Phone sent UPS second day air from Dallas Fort Worth. UPS tracking says I should have it by the end of business tomorrow, 10/5.
So, it looks like my time here is drawing to a close. Good luck to all of you. I hope the backorder and shipping stars align soon for all of you!
I have the exact same date and order as you do. Kinda wish it was 1day shipping, right now its just sitting in fort worth. Either way I will have my new phone by the weekend
