ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

My iPhone 4 was shipped USPS once when i ordered from at&t, i think it took 1 day or 2 at the most since i remember.
I went to this website https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status an it told me i was backordered, but i hope i get out of it sooner.....
I checked there now. Mines on Backorder also.on att.com in my account it says pending shipment though.

Yes when I placed my order just recently, the lady said she was doing it priority mail. Maybe only preorder people get UPS/Fedex shipping and yours got mixed with some recent orders?

Don't know, the order was a pre-order. Not sure what happened there.
Edit: Not that I'm complaining but my order, not this one, was sent via FedEx Next Day.
I can't even understand how I'm getting both orders before other people that ordered sooner than me.

So far I haven't seen any white 16gb's processed after 9/17 that have gotten off BO... with the exception of one (someone's wife or something that ordered on the 19th... which is random). If they really are on short stock why are a select few that ordered later getting them now before the 9/18ers? Anyway... the one positive thing I can gather from all the posts I have read was that they are hopefully getting a large shipment in this week. And hopefully that takes care of all our white 16gb's. They need to catch up on those... seriously.
Ordered a 16g black on the 18th and it'll be delivered tomorrow.. but ordered a 16g white the same day and still back ordered...I have no clue what kind of system their using..
Hmm... now I just need to wait for order dates 19-25 haha.
Too bad a couple million people ordered between then...
Same as me. UPS plane just landed in Philadelphia and my UPS tracking now updated to show it arriving there.

I'm worried! There used to be a pending charge on my card, but now its' gone! I know it hasn't gone through either, whats up?!!? I ordered a black 32 on 9/23. Anyone experience this? Do I really have to call the stupid att people?

Ugh, ordered a 32GB Black a day before you, and still on BO.
So I was kind of curious as to how the other pre orders with Apple.com and Verizon were going. I check there threads and it looks like most of them are in the same boat as us. I thought at the apple.com one would have been much faster, but it appears that they are the same.
Well I guess this just means that like most people thought apple has kept the supply down again. It is simply marketing you keep the simply down just enough to keep people thinking I have to have this item cause not very many people have it. It keeps that demand and interest up. Apple does it every time.

when do you guys think we could expect the next wave of white 16gb's? it would be nice to some movements tomorrow... or over the course of the weekend... or Monday... yeah, they need to come in tomorrow.

Yea, I think both 16s are in the 18-19 range that are being shipped. Both colors need some major production push so a bunch of major shipments can start coming in. 18-early 21 will probably be fast, but people ordered a lot late 21 if they didn't get one in store I think.

I swear they have no f*#**## clue what is going on. There is no reason the two bigger capacity phones should have shipping dates two weeks sooner. They should have split production better. It's only a matter of different amounts of RAM.
Here's a question......4 times today I've checked on the order status of my 32 white. At 10 AM it was out of BO. By noon it was back in BO. At 3 back out. Now at 7 in BO again. WTF?! Now I didn't order mine until 10/1, so I understand it will take some time, but watching that change every few hours is pretty frustrating lol! Anyone else have this issue?
Well I am still waiting to get off backorder on my black 16GB that was ordered on the 16th but didn't show up on their website until the 18th..
Its kinda depressing to hear about all of the people who got theirs before me, even though they ordered after me. In the end it doesn't matter to me but next time I am definitely ordering at 12:01am or waiting in line at a store.
