I orderd my blk 16gb iphone 5 from att on 9/21/12
Its still on back order and the guy told me that it would ship between
october 11-22 so just be patient you guys

Friday was the 14th business day for me. The 16GB's are picking up though so I'm hoping to come off BO by Thursday or Friday. *fingers crossed*. I already received by silicon case. My otterbox defender should be here by mid next week. Just need the phone AT&T!!!!
I ordered mine on the 21st like at 8:30am, it got out of BO, yesterday. You should keep checking.

Hopefully it does. The wait has been killing me.
They're being shipped and delivered. A lot of people who ordered on 9/21 are now getting tracking info. I ordered 9/23.
Well, we hope that we get the tracking info in the next couple of business days, now that our order came out of BO this weekend.
I just checked again, and its still on bo. I can guarantee that if you ordered 9/21/12 or earlier from att premier then you should see it being shipped out tomorrow. I just finished talking to a att technical representative. 
What can I expect?
I ordered the black 16gb at an at&t store on sept 24 around 2:30 p.m since then this is the first time i checked my order status and i have a few questions.
Am I currently on back order?
if yes how can i check if im on back order ?
Also I ****** hate this waiting a month for a phone BS.
I could have just walked into the store yesterday and got it since they had stock. Also apple tim cook is a straight dumbass for letting this happen, wish R.i.p Steve jobs was still here 8[...

So if you ordered October 11th, like your PM says, then I'd expect it to come off backorder this Wednesday or Thursday, assuming it's a white 32GB. I can't speak for any other models. Blacks seem more popular, so it'll take longer I'd imagine. 16GBs are still super backordered it seems too.Ordered a white 32GB on October 7th (last Sunday), came off backorder on October 12th (Friday). So it looks like ordering a white 32GB only takes about 4-5 business days to come off backorder (for anyone that's debating on whether the wait is too long)

Hoping these rumors about movement and BO's "clearing" in mid-October are true. Ordered 32GB black and a 16GB white on 10/2.
Seems like white is being fulfilled much faster than black from this thread. Did the email you received when you first ordered quote you 14-21 days like it did most of us or did it say 4-7 days?
Not sure who this is directed toward, but I was quoted 14-21 days. Took 5 (to come off backorder)

Sigh... I preordered two 16 gb white on the 19th and 20th respectively... But it seems like at&t was working yesterday and today so we might get it before this coming week ends.
